I went to apply my Social Security Number today. The guard helped me a lot, and Mike, the officer, is very nice. We had a little chat and he gave me advices about Miami for me.

This office is terrible. I waited on hold for over a hour and a half and was told to mail my paperwork certified mail and information. It was sent back to me (even though the address was correct) and I called the office again and they said to drop it off. I go to drop it off and they say they can't take it and I need to make an appointment which they already told me I could not do because me changing my last name was not considered an important enough reason for an appointment. This office has wasted so much of my time and their lack of professionalism has been unbelievable.

I was calling all the afternoon, the workers doesn't answer and when they do after 20 minutes they hang out the phone. I call again and someone answered the phone, I ask a question, looks the worker doesn't understand what I was asking and hang out the phone again.

It's take all day doing the diligence of your social security number. The bathroom don't have soap and in the area it has to be mandatory the sanitizer dispensers. And they don't have... I hope they resolve this problems very soon. It is my 3th pretty bad visit, and the slower Sistem in the world!

My appointment was made by a rep that I spoke to on SSA's toll free number. I read a couple of reviews that were not good yet I decided to give this location a try anyway. It is a building that could use a lot of attention as many government buildings. Even though I had an appointment, as there is no person at a desk, just a kiosk, I signed in and got a number. There was a room full of people. I was afraid I would be handled like everyone else, but about five minutes after my appointment time, my name was called over the PA system. I was taken care of by a gentlemen with the name of Robert Denis. Robert was very helpful, answered any question I had with a nice smile and seemed very interested in making my experience of signing up for Social Security a good one, which I have to say it was. I am very pleased with the treatment I received at this facility. I do recommend arriving a little early as parking can be a little difficult. Frank W.

This office has 29 customer services windows, but they had working around five or six functionaries, with the waiting room full of people, result, over three hours to receive service, that is disrespectful, that is awful customer services. One of the security guys does not have the minimal idea about what is polite. I do not recommend this office to any person.

I went to get some tax info, they did not call my ticket number all day, for 3 hours, and then when they were forced to finally attend me after closing the black lady at window 4 on 10/23/2017 said she called me 3 times, which is a lie. The times she mentioned started with my exact ticket check-in time, with hundreds of people there (oh really?). Not likely they would call me when I walk in. Anyway I was glued to the monitor watching closely all day, not a chance I would miss anything. Also, the random sequences of numbers there kind of hide their mis-managed line as there is no order. To me this way the can camouflage their mishandling. That's my take why they have that type of number system. THAT system should be Changed! What about one sequence of numbers, what a concept! Anyway, this woman also was impolite and pretty much useless. Was I surprised? not really, people like her give the government workers a bad name. So, it would be best for the managers there to confront her on her lies and her attitude. If they really wanna clean up things they just need to look who handled window 4 at closing on 10/23/17.

Ok I'll start on the good first. I went in 3 pm and didn't have a long wait even though what I needed was very detailed. Staff was friendly and curtious and professional and got my problem straightened out. It took a few weeks due to multiple locations meeded to fix it. Security was very helpful as well with the check-in terminal.nnI don't blame the workers for the problems since many years ago the government closed many social security offices creating huge lines. The place is in disrepair and needs better cleaning and bathrooms are gross. There is no parking there. The neighborhood is bad and the police had to take 2 people out for fighting in line when I went there in the morning once.

Wow horrible social security administration staff after waiting for almost 2 hours for my number to be called they jumped my mom number and explain to them I was watching the TV and earing all the number clearly and did not called my number they said yes we did so I spoke to 3 window people and explain to them that my mom is deaf can you please help her all 3 of them said no you will have to get another ticket all over again and I said what!! I been waiting for almost 2 hours and did not hear that number being called or on the TV either. This staff are so rude, no desire of working or helping people in need they should be train in customer service. So folks do not go there it explain the amount of stars of rating it as.

I took my aunt there this morning 10/24/2017 at 9:00 am. She had her ticket and was there for more then 3 hours. I had to leave her there because I had to go to work. She simply asked the security guard (the full sized one) if he knew what was going on because they went from 628 to 637 and her number was in between those numbers. All she wanted to know was if she was going to be attended and his sorry disrespectful ass told her not to ask him that it wasn't his problem and he wasn't with nobody's stuff today to go ask someone on the back windows! He has some dam nerve speaking to a 70 year old woman like that! He is rude to everyone that walks in there. Also when she went to ask someone about the number calling the lady was also rude and told her she doesn't know that she was not no ones person case worker!!! Poor ass service! They need to learn how to have some dam manners and treat people right instead of looking down on them cause they need assistance!!!!

It's very hard to get through on the phone. You get shifted from one automated line to another. Sometimes up to 5 or 6 times. Then the phone automatically disconnects. Or to be told the office is closed. Why can't they say that up front?nThe only reason I'm giving them a 3 star is because there is one employee that is a jewel. His name is Mr. Washington. I've talked to him about 4 times. Every time he has been professional, patient when I was frustrated. And he gave me the information I needed to accomplish my task. They need more employees like Mr. Washington.

I was seen by an extravagant pink dressed woman, with nails so long that she couldnu2019t type on the computer and had to use a pencil to press each letter (very slowly by the way). She was disrespectful and lazy. She was not willing to do her job, and tried to create fake excuses to dismiss me. After I left this office, losing 6 hours of my life for nothing, I went to the one located in Miami Beach, and they were very helpful and kind.

Everybody in this office should be fired or placed in sensitivity training is a disgrace

The wanna be police security is VERY RUDE WITH ELDERLY PEOPLE. He needs to be removed from sitting there if he is going to treat people that way! I wish I had his name I would of reported him.... His fat ass was probably hungry and wanted food so he decided to treat people how ever he felt like!
