Social security services in Cleveland.nAs many of you know I recently became a US citizen and have to update my Social security records. Well since all the Social security service offices are closed I had to call them and find out what the process is now. Both times when I called I got to talk to older people, probably in their sixties. Let me tell you how awesome my experience was. They both went above and beyond my expectations. They patently listened to all the questions I had, and trust me I had many questions, and they answered all of them to to best of their knowledge. Honestly the best phone call experience I ever had.

These people are rude, nasty and have no people skills. They cut you off during call and you're not able to explain your problem.

I agree with blanquita 100%. This will be my 4th trip just to get a replacement card. This time im bringing everything but the kitchen sink. As far as im concerned just another bloated govt agency where noone is on the same page or seems to know EXACTLY what is needed. Sorry to give 1 star. I couldn't go any lower.

I had a worker tell me lies, i filled out 3 forms for me n my kids we all needed social security cards, i was first told over the phone all i needed was my ID and birth certificates for everyone. I had that and my forms ready to go! I get to the counter and she tells me i need up to date shot records. What does that have to do with getting a social security cards when i have birth certificates for me and my kids?! So i had to spend another day doing that to come back and file my paperwork. Later to find out over a month later, she never inputed my information on the computer so my cards would be mailed to me, so iwas told i had to fill out the forms again!!!! So i had to do triple the work because some lazy person working for the government didn't do her job! F.u.

Staff are helpful. I find it very hard to do everything SS wants and demands. It's extremely hard to get off of as well. I want to know how and they make it so hard to do it. Why can't you just stop paying people who want to be independent? Why must they prove it to you?

Why would you close at 12pm on a weekday?... Please help me understand the reason a government office isn't open past 12pm on a Wednesday?. Tell me the logic behind this!!!!!

Change your hours online. You are not open until 4 on Wednesday and I wasted 45 minutes to find that out.
