I walked in thirty minutes to close and the receptionists were very helpful helping me do a legal name change and requesting a new social security card. I visited their website to ensure I had all the proper documents and completed the necessary forms before visiting them.

These call representatives are so unprofressional hanging up when I ask to speak with a supervisor. Before the pandemic my card expired March 30th and I had no knowledge. I've been hung up on so to date April 15, 2020. It's ridiculous. I have no access to any of my funds nor paying any bills.Management needs to do something about this!

This is the worst office I had to deal with. These workers are nonchalant, harsh, and selfish. Iu2019m disable and home with my three children I was first told it would be 1 month for them to review my case, when I called the person in Columbus who would be making the decision on my case I was told it would be 90days imagine being without an income for so long. After the decision was made, the local office now said I cannot get paid until they receive my file from Columbus which arrive 2 weeks after the decision from Columbus. Now I called back the local office to find out why is it taking so long for my 3 months of checks, the gentleman now explain that the file was received and the information was input into the system and they are waiting for the payment center to review the information and pay me. I ask how long will this take no one is able to give me a straight answer because it depends. Now how do the government expect someone to survive this way all my bills are past due, no food and my rent is over due now. Iu2019m unable to get Foodstamp or cash because they state that in the computer it shows Iu2019m receiving SSI disability!!!! SMH and Iu2019m still waiting to be paid now

My mother is disabled and wasn't able to go down to the office in person. So, she mailed in an application. We waited a couple of weeks but never received her card. The call center told us that her application was processed but when we finally got a hold of the ssa's office number one of the workers told us they couldn't even find my mom's file and recommended that we reapply.nnSo, we sent in another application. One I delivered personally. I told one of the workers it was the application with a medical document inside. She said that was fine and I left it in their drop box. Again waited around never receivsd anything in the mail. Called around and finally one of the workers just admitted that her application was probably shredded because it wasnt mailed in with an I.D. I find this unacceptable.nnThe website where I printed the application from States that all documents mailed to them will be returned. Yet my mother's was shredded. Not once but twice. We weren't even sent a letter to notify us that her application was denied. Completely ridiculous.
