Needed my name change after marriage. No other SSA office answered but them. The sweet lady on phone let me know I only needed to mail my passport, application plus copy of my marriage certificate in for a name change. Mailed it in on a Friday, and it arrived on a Monday. Got my name changed and original documents back on Thursday. Super fast and easy process. Deserves more than 5 stars!

I live in Mountain View, CA and I applied for Social Security Number in local office but I don't have received yet the card. I already called the local office, they said the card was sent from Social Security Headquarter Baltimore and it will take 14 days. I also asked the local office they said it was already sent on April 15, 2022. This is already more than 14 days and I'm not received the card yet. What happen? Why you take so long?

Sent requests for W-2 copies 8 months ago. No word until I checked in on it 2 months ago and I was told there was no further info. Got paperwork today saying they could only send info for one of the years requested. Of course, no refunds. So you blindly mail in a request with your card info, they charge it, and you wait for months without even knowing if you'll get what you requested. A waste of time and money. Customer service reps were nice enough though.

They agent was so nice and patient with me. She forwarded my call to my case workers private line for me to leave a detailed message. I very hopeful that they will assist me in having my payment expedited because of the uncertainty of how much longer I have. Iu2019m very grateful for the assistance that I received.

Phone service is the worse. Representatives are so unprofessional and short with responses. I guess they want to get back to the television program they were watching before they took the call. I hate calling here but its the office I'm supposed to call as it relates to my address. I wish there were oversight and regular observations of calls.

Arrived around 930 didn't get seen until 955. Staff is decent at best. My only tip is to CALL before going. Advise what you need done and ask EXACTLY what you need to bring. After that get a name of who you spoke to. One person told me one thing when I got there, a rep over the phone told me another after I left.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep named Terry. I intended to take the survey after the call but forgot and hung up. I'd like to just tell someone how professional, helpful and courteous Terry was to me. Wish I knew his last name but hopefully there's only one Terry in that unit. Thank you.

The last time I was there was on Friday August2,19.I was seen by the same woman,a always criticizing me and putting me down! She really gets off on it!I was beaten and robbed October of last year and my son's checks were taken in the purse snatching,This year on July1,19.She is still rubbing that in my face(about a dozen times,at least!)Human beings makeistakes,i don't deserve to be demonized! You have a Security Guard that stands very close to the clients with his back to you and listens to your personal business, then smirks and gossips about it!The lady that waits on me cuts across me twists things that I say and cuts me off while I'm talking and reverses things that I say!
