The most laid back approach I have seen in my life. It's a harassment to get an appointment and a card. The representatives are least bothered to help and are not even coordinated. It's been four months and I still haven't received my card, they keep blaming the USPS, well either the Govt staff are this casual all over the globe or it's a form of racial discrimination.

Trying to obtain my daughter's SS card has been a nightmare. After it got send to the wrong address (first major issue) we tried to submit the proper documents, which was convoluted looking at the website, and you can only drop off between 9 am and 2 pm on Wednesdays (second major issue). So the other option of speaking to someone is only by appointment and getting one is impossible with the phone service and odd hours of operation. The security guard was rude to my wife when she tried to drop off information and wouldn't let her ask anyone about the documents. So frustrated I had to write a review about it. The system needs to be way better than this.

Never answer the phone, hang up on you, waiting for hours/days for a call back just to get a scheduling. This is ridiculous

To tge bit$&& that put me on hold for an hour Iu2019ll slap you in your face with my tampon and slice your throat

The absolutely worst place. The service was terrible and the staff was extremely unfriendly, she even refused to talk to me and kept urging me to leave away, have never seen anyone who is so disrespectful. Besides I called the phone service five times and none of them replied to me with the same answers. Sucks place forever!

I don't normally do this, but I HAVE to this time. My husband had an appointment today at this office and I went with him. I can't tell you how VERY POLITE, RESPECTFUL, NICE and PROFESSIONAL that the employees at this office are. Thank You to ALL who turned a very stressful situation into an easier and less stressful day for us with your compassion and professionalism. Starting with the front of the room on the 3rd floor with the Security Guard to the Clerk to the whole staff...THANK YOU.

Visiting the SSN office is a different experience and the staff there is doing a great job! Too much pressure, servicing aggressive people etc..nnOnce you enter there you would require to take a token and wait for your turn, office is quite big and have ample seating for everyone. It can take from 45 mins to 180 minutes for your turn and completely depends on the day you choose.

Terrible. Wasted gas moneyand transportation costs on miss information.

I had a administrative court hearing in this building. Everything went according to what was expected without any complications. The office was fairly easy to locate. There was parking available nearby for a fee and street parking available. Either parking location is not suitable for someone with a disability to get conveniently to and from the office. There was a lady at the desk after the security checkpoint to check in and let them know you are there for the hearing.

They don't know what they are doing. Most has an attitude when you call

The security guard was nice, the lady behind the counter who helped us was super friendly. My wife and I both came on a Friday a half hour before they closed to get replacement cards. In and out in ten minutes.

Nancy called from rm 507 on Security Drive and said that my SSN had been cancelled, if I'd just give her some cash card numbers, she could turn my SS numberback on she wouldn't tell me her last name or hernsupervisor, so I don't think the money got credited to myaccount

While there are worse local offices this one is a nightmare in any case. Take a number, sit down, and expect to wait. Don't have to use to the restroom or you're number will be called and you'll have to take another one and wait some more. We're talking hours of waiting time. Got information over the phone? Go into the office and they'll tell you something completely different. Staff is curt, uninvolved, and compassionless. The sad thing is that it is no better anywhere else.

Long wait. After paying 100s of thousands of tax, SS, medicare and giving jobs to so many, standing in line, outside in a hallway to get to the window of the SS officer, felt low and disrespected. Federal government can do a better job to its citizens.
    Jayda Carrington
My experience was quick, easy and simple. Check in is done on a computer. My wait during the middle of the day was not long at all. I was in and out with no problems at all.
    Gina Maiorana
Worst experience. Called and the lady could care less, telling me Iu2019m wrong, telling me they donu2019t accept certain things meanwhile Iu2019m reading verbatim what the form says to send in. If itu2019s out of date then why is it even on the website.

Not helpful at all they do not want to help you when you call regarding things they have done wrong nobody tries to accommodate you. I'm missing 2 payments at this time because they are incompetent.

Security guards are totally rude, don't go there they are helpless
    Robert May
They are over worked and have poor attitude due to it.
