It was a long line, but the wait is worth it. They keep people 6 ft. apart, lobby waiting area clean and sanitize. The Staff is excellent and professional. It only took me, about 10 minutes for my Case to be resolved. Thanks.

This is my second time applying for replacement documents for my children. We had a house fire so I had to get everything all over. The first time was back in July. I sent in my documents and forms. I was denied. I reapplied last week of October. I call mid November Iu2019m told give 4-6 weeks. Rep didnu2019t take any information just told me to call back then. I call December 1 today Iu2019m told I was denied again. My documents were sent back to me November 7 and I should have received them by now. Obviously if I had received them I wouldnu2019t be calling. The rep who worked my replacement still have my documents. Had the first rep took the time to look up my information Iu2019d actually know I had been denied. I understand they may be busy but youu2019re getting paid to do a job you should do it fully.

Don't call you when your appt is scheduled. Called to see why no one called me for my appt. They said on the notes they called 2 hrs and 45 min early and it rang busy both times and that was it. When I was advised to make ANOTHER appt they said they couldn't get a phone appt for me for 6 more weeks!!! When I said I shouldn't have to wait that long since it's not my fault and has already waited a month for this appt and they can't call when they are supposed to...I got hung up on. Then wait 20 min to get through again only for the lady to hang right back up on me when she heard it was me!!!! So here I am on hold for 21 min to get an appt set up and now no one will even answer my call. The people answering the phones are SO RUDE!

I mailed in my birth certificate and all other necessary documents to get a new social security card for a last name change, and they lost all of my stuff! They contacted me almost a whole year later saying they found my stuff but that I cannot come pick it up and that I have to re-apply all over again! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RE-APPLY IF THEY HAVE ALL OF MY DOCUMENTS!?!??!?!

Mr. Gomez worked with me this morning to replace my lost Medicare card. He was knowledgeable, patient , and very courteous. I trust that this review will be shared with him and that his supervisors will appreciate having an employee of MR. GOMEZu2019S competence and customer engagementn.

If you have an option to go to another office, please save yourself the headache. Super rude phone agent (the first two were okay, despite giving me the wrong information, and the third one straight up hang up on me when I tried getting a clarification on my case) and a simple request has taken over a month and the issue is yet to be resolved. The different times I have called and sent in documents, I keep getting different feedback for the same form and it is just an inefficient system all together.

Rude, unprofessional, and lazy. Spoken to multiple people at this office and all but one of them were horrible representatives of government employees. My wife has been waiting for over two months for her new social security card. Apparently, there was an issue with her passport but no one had the time to pick up the phone or send an email to remedy the situation. They're rude and extremely unprofessional on the phone. We have a meeting with one of their inutile employees in the morning. I'm optimistic that their tone will change when they're not hiding behind a phone line.

Every time I have been to this office the service has been wonderful. Once you get in line the workers will help you to get in the correct one for your needs. Most of all I feel safe when I arrive and when I am leaving.

I understand the frustration of being on the phone waiting for a representative with no answer or response & it wasnu2019t the easiest after I called back three or four times but I had the pleasure to speak with Ms. Adriana Gonzalez an she was very polite and well mannered and help me solve my issue on my replacement card . I would highly recommend her every time . Thankyou again Ms . Gonzalez

Very rude and unprofessional! The agent that answered my call had a bad attitude from the start. I told her Iu2019m waiting to get my document back from when I requested a new social security card, which I did receive. I told her itu2019s been almost a month and I havenu2019t got my original document back, then she lost it and started yelling and was talking over me. I couldnu2019t get a word in when I asked for a supervisor and she just hung up on me. How sad and unprofessional that people like that work for the government. These are important documents! I called back and asked for a supervisor but the agent that answered that time didnu2019t get me to a supervisor like I requested and tried helping me. Iu2019m very disappointed with their service.

Very efficient!! My experience as below:nn9/21: Dropped off document for replacement SSN card in officen9/27: Original documents sent back via mailn10/4: Received SSN card in mail

Very rude and unprofessional. I called the third times today to make an appointment to apply for SSN since I canu2019t do it online and while I was explaining that Iu2019d been waiting for 3 weeks when they said 5 days the first time the agent hung up on me. The first time another agent( maybe the same one today) was yelling at me because I didnu2019t understand her question, my English is not as good as an American but itu2019s not that bad and itu2019s not my fault to ask her to repeat the question on phone. Am I begging for something or do I deserve being treated that way?
    Goodbye Jimmy
My wife never received her replacement social security card after applying by mail like we were told to do. All we got back was our original documents and the receipt. As you can see from the date in the picture attached, its been several months. We followed the instructions on the letter to call after 2 weeks, and was told to wait.nnOn our most recent call, we were told that the replacement card was never sent. We were told to reapply by mailing in the original documents and application. No appologies given. I understand the difficulties with Covid, but this standard of service is beneath the SSA.nnSocial Security Offices need to reopen and put in place Covid safety measures like the USCIS which is still opened to the public. By staying closed to the public, there is little oversight over SSA employees which has allowed their service to deteriorate. Hopefully somebody is listening.

Very efficient! Most folks get there early (before 8 am) to line up outside. Nice security folks will sort you into different lines around 8:45 am depending on what you need. For a replacement card (including a name change), you usually get in first. I was out by 9:15 am, very easy with proper documentation. When I left the name change line was empty, so if you are going for a simple replacement card you may be able to arrive later with no issues. Do your research beforehand to be prepared with the right forms and documents!

I was pleasantly surprised by this office! The line is extremely long, so make sure you have plenty of time before you visit. When I was there, many of us had to wait outside. But the friendliness and professionalism of the staff was great. Even the security guards who deal with crowd control were extremely pleasant. The representative who helped me worked quickly and obviously knew what he was doing.

Pleasantly surprised! I arrived 15 in before they opened, they had already formed lines. One of the employees started handing out tickets in the lines and directed people to one of 4 different lines depending on what they needed. At 9 AM they started letting people in (security check) and let them continue the line inside. I got served at ca. 9:15. The staff was very respectful and helpful. Something didn't work on my application and she took the time to try again and then it worked. I'm definitely pleasantly surprised at how efficient polite they were, especially for a government office.nnMy only advice is to avoid brining a bag. It takes a while to search them and they let people without bags enter immediately, so they were at the front of the line.... Bring a pen for the form and maybe a book/phone in case the wait does get longer than expected but a bag will only cost you time.
    Eva Martinez Sparks
My ONLY reason for giving it 4 rather than 5 stars was the wait. It was long but expected due to it being Friday AND it followed the government shutdown. In total, I was in line about 1.5 hours. Once I got to the window it went quickly. Norma helped me with my changes. She was awesome!!! Her personality and attitude were outstanding! If only more people in the service industry could be so welcoming, helpful and in good spirits in spite of the circumstances surrounding them. By the time I left the line was out the door. I was grateful for my 1.5 hour wait. I would go back to this location again. Also, the guard at the front door was very helpful and pleasant!
