USELESS. Told there was only ONE person in the office that could take care of an error social security made. Told the supervisor would call the following day. Supervisor has been on a three month vacation- never called back and never available to speak to you. I wish they were on a recorded line because then maybe there would be someone who was available to help

I was taken in shortly after my arrival and seen by Ms Davis, who assisted me and completing paperwork, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful, I wish that everyone would be just like her. Thank you Ms Davis.

4/25/2022, the SSA at Germantown office has opened to public. Allows walk-in services. For whoever needs! Best of luck.

my experience at this office was pleasant. everyone i interacted with--including the guards--was patient, professional, and knowledgeable. in regard to reviewers' personality complaints, while a good sense of humor and certain other personality traits might be nice, their absence shouldn't distract us from our purpose for being there. did you get your business handled? do you know more now than you did when you arrived?nni couldn't get what i went there for, but i understand the rules and know what i need to do next. it amounts to more work for me, but that's not their fault.

I came in for one little thing there was a 40+ minute wait on line alone, just to receive a ticket to be seen after i sat for over and hour! Women children was running around, it smelled so bad, no hand sanitizer or anything this place was disgusting and the security guards stay on their phones more than they secure the building. This government office needs to do better!!!

The agent we met with was very helpful / very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The office is pleasant looking and has parking nearby. Get an appointment first - we waited over an hour. Agree that the general staff is unfriendly and intimidating - a tense atmosphere there.

It's kinda hard to get someone on the phone... So I usually just leave messages and wait until someone calls me back ud83eudd37ud83cudfffu200du2640ufe0f....

I gave this a four stars because, customer service representative and gave me great information so I can move forward with my case. But the place is very low staff and a little disorganized. You will be waiting here for at least 4 hours before you go to the back. But otherwise they have a lot of seating and the place is clean.

I came in was seated and my number called. Went to the area to be seen and in no more than 20min. I was walking out the door with all my business taken care of. The agent was perfect in every way and I couldnu2019t believe how perfect it went. Just saying.

This place is horrible worst then the welfare office. I see a lot of staff walking around doing nothing talking to each other about things not related to the job when itu2019s a waiting room full of people waiting to be seen. Then if you gotta go they threaten to cut benefits off. I told them to keep the money I just need the insurance for my autistic child. Then if you have an appointment at 9:45am cancel your day cause you will be here all of that day.

I have been calling for months trying to speak with someone and they say the same thing someone will call you back and they never do worst Office ever they need new workers that wants to work

They don't even deserve 1 star. This place new management and new employees. There are 31 office stalls and only 3 employees were working. There were 3 security guards just sitting at their desk (2 at a time) not doing anything but texting on their phones.

Thank God it's there...not every one can get downtown...security is very nice & Staff really cares...I had to take care of business for friend , had no issues at all. I did like the WISSAHICKON office better, it was much larger. However, we need this office .. Thank you staff & Security..!nSo people be GRATEFUL..!

0 stars. Refused to allow us to file a form that the SSA regulations state they are required to accept.I don't care what the regulations sayis a direct quote. Folks in other areas have uneventfully filed this form at other offices. Truly a terrible office that does not know how to do their job.

This place is horrid the security guards and customer service reps are very very rude Iu2019m sure if they understood customer service skills and politeness Iu2019m sure the customers will fellow when you dish out attitude when you are working for a professional environment it look bad they need to get it together sad dumbs down

I give the fourth star reluctantly only because I'm going through a minor crisis regarding my disability insurance. Still though, the local office team does earn that extra star via their professionalism and setting the proper expectations.

Spanish lady at booth 10 was very rude and nasty , constantly walking away from the window and being disrespectful to me when Ilightlytapped on herwindowlady you don't own the windows here! Maybe if you stopped your disappearing acts I wouldn't have too. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

My atempt to navigate the automated system has been extremely annoying and challenging. With a so-called, modern and progressive Government, I should not have to rely on an Antiquated Automated or Computerized System to engage in a common sense and people or human centered dialogue where nonscripted questions and or responses are a requirement...

I spent half a day Tuesday, all day Wednesday, and half of Thursday still no resolution of their issue. I have to return on Thursday. Also submitted a reconsideration and after 3 months no reply as of yet
    Doris Miller
My husband and I said it was the worst experience ever. The security people was the meanest people ever. Down right rude would be the best description we could useu2639ufe0f. Horrible human beings as public servants.

They put me on hold for about 45 mins and then the line was disconnected. This is not the first time. Thats why i started calling different number but every time they said i have to call local office. Poor service..

a nightmare experience. I got every material ready but the white lady just won't do her work. I went to another SSA office and got it solved immediately. What a waste of time! I spent 3 hours here only to get nothing!

The security lady at the door. Looked like she rather be somewhere else. It seemed as though she hated her job. No good morning to customers..had a bad attitude towards people. I mean who does the hiring. Just crazy.

All social security offices suck. This particular location can't type routing numbers correct at all, so double check EVERYTHING you do there or expect delays with your payments.
    Catalin Florea
Clean, well organized, personnel well trained. I had to apply for a copy of my social security card - no problems.
