Very safe, friendly, and fast service. Be sure you leave all weapons home including anything sharp or it will be taken at the door unless you take it back to your vehicle!

Nice helpful employee. Went here for my sons replacement social security card. Let me say the security guard in the social security office was just the sweetest. He was helping people get signed in. I overheard him offering to hold an older gentlemans ticket for him so he wouldn't lose his spot. The older gentleman needed a quick snack due to his blood sugar. Good guy with a positive attitude ud83dudc4d

The only reason I gave one star is so I could voice my opinion. I've been calling for over 3 months and leave messages with my rep. Never a call back. I'm trying to find how receiving a small inheritance will effect my SSI. No one will answer or call me back. I'm sure they will be very quick to penalize me for not knowing what I'm supposed to do by no fault of my own

It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact anyone in the downtown SS office. I have tried calling them many times to find out if they are open, or at least to get an appointment to see someone about a social security replacement card. Everyone in the country is working, but they are stillworkingfrom home. Please, the pandemic is over. Get to work.

Just went on 4.11 22 for a name change. Went just after 9am. No problems whatsoever. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was dreading it after reading these reviews!! Haha! But it was just fine!!

First week back after more than a year of being closed. Well, seems like the lady in window #5 was having a bad day or wasnu2019t enjoying the returning to work. Unprofessional, unhelpful and rude.

They dont answer the phone, I've been waiting for my social for 3 months. And when you do get them on the phone they try and rush you off all while pretending to note things.

For two months I canu2019t get a hold of anybody. You canu2019t go in to change your name anymore and nobody will answer the phone. It doesnu2019t even put you on hold. Itu2019s says theyu2019re busy and hangs up. And I canu2019t send an email either because every time I try it says unable to process request. This is ridiculous and people need to be able to get their names changed

I recently reached out with a question regarding a name change after marriage & was able to speak with someone very helpful. The wait time wasn't bad, less than 5 minutes and the call was quick as well. My concern was an easy one, but thankfully it was pleasant. I unfortunately guess the best service will depend on the need and time of day-

I have been trying to get ahold of someone from here for like 2 weeks. I am needing to change my last name and since they aren't doing in person stuff I have to do it through the mail. I have everything I need but I am needing the exact address for where I am to send it to. I keep being put on hold and don't have time to sit on hold for an hour. Their hours are my work hours so I can only do this on my lunch break but everytime I call I don't get anyone! This is ridiculous. Currently been on hold for 20 minutes now and have to go back to work soon. I would like to get this done before my baby arrives in December.

Not sure why they thought it would be a good idea to be closed to the public during a pandemic, as if this isn't when people are need of their help the most. Would have made more sense to be open by appointment only, but that's not what's easiest for them. Now I have to wait over a month to get my name changed!

Got the runaround in the office and mailed back all documentation required, but they state they do not have he paperwork and then CV19 hit, so all in-person appts were suspended. Have tried multiple times to reach someone via phone. I get left on hold for over ten minutes and then it disconnects, every single time ud83dude21

If you guys don't want to talk to us on the phone and keep hanging up, acting like you can't hear nobody. Then set up where we can make appointments online.

All I was attempting to do was track where my replacement S S card was. The lady put me on hold for 20 minutes. She never came back on the phone. Only these people could take such a simple request and turn it into such a long and drawn out process. Itu2019s a shame. Theyu2019re slow lazy & thereu2019s no accountability.
    ali jariri
They keep you on hold for more than 40 mins and the. Hang-up !!

Couldn't have had a better experience at this location. I had an appointment time and was called within 5 minutes after check in. The person who helped me was Mr. Murphy. He was very professional and answered every question I had. It was also great to speak with someone who spoke English as their primary language. My biggest problem was finding parking.
    Mandy Dahl
Clean, organized, and didnt have to wait very long to talk to someone without having an appointment. Got my son's disability check switched to a different account in which it will be deposited. Helpful & nice customer service.
    SHAWNA BEERS
Waited almost two hours to drop off paperwork that was requested by the office and was told they did not have time to make copies of my original court documents. I work and have to take time off to go there and now have to go another day and try again. Maybe have someone that can answer questions so that people don't waste time.
