Just changed my name and it only took a week and a half from sending in my application to getting my new card! Now that's efficient! Also, when I called to ask about the name change process the lady was extremely helpful and sweet. Thank you guys!

The Rant-A-Cop at the door is useless and I'm pretty sure he thinks he's protecting the White House.

Will not answer the phone ever, wonu2019t take walk ins and wonu2019t take appointments either. They are keeping me from getting hired at a job because of their incompetence

Very helpful after calling I spoke with Justin and he made it a lot less of a problem during the Covid-19. It is confusing enough to get sorted out and the community volunteer who was going to help me was called away on a family emergency, never could return in time to help me before my time ran out. In the end, I think all will be a-okay

I drove an hour away to bring this office my birth certificate. I arrived at 12:15 on a Wednesday and when I got there a sign on the window said they were closed. I rang the doorbell and the employee opened and said they close at 12:00 on Wednesdayu2019s. I said I had come an hour to bring in my birth certificate. He said, u201cSorry. Youu2019ll have to come back another day.u201d He couldnu2019t just take it and add it to my file? Why were their hours not listed clearly near the top of their website? And why the heck does a government office need to close at noon on Wednesday and only Wednesday?!

Since dealing with the Cheyenne S. S. office I have been getting harassed by Richard. Richard has asked me some very odd questions that no one has ever asked before. Richard also told me over the phone that you are not allowed to work at all while on s.s. When I talked to Richard in person at the S.S. Office he changed his story and said you are allowed to work but can only make $60 before your check is cut. When I spoke with rose and asked to speak to a supervisor she said I could only talk to Richard and I did not want to talk to him because of how he has been treating me. She said he was the only one I could talk to. You could tell by the look on roses face that she new what they are doing is wrong and she knows they are harassing me. Richard is calling my cell phone and leaving nasty and harassing messages when he is not supposed to be contacting me. I still have his nasty voice mail that he left.

Called the 800 ss# and had some issues with ss and the 800 operator said i could go to my local ss office and speak with a supervisor. Went to the cheyenne office and talked with a Rose who said i could NOT ralk to a supervisor and I could only talk with Richard. Rose brought up my mom receiving ss for me after my dad died in 1974. I have dealt with ss for many years and have never been questioned by anyone like Rose and Richard did. Bizzare questions. Also while on the phone with Richard he started discussing my daughters ss. I am NOT her representative payee and she is over the age of 18 so Richard was discussing info illegally. Also when I started working I called the cheyenne office to report that i had started working and Richard said i did not. So i guess since hes Richard he must be right, NOT! I think these employees need to be checked because it seems to me the power of their position has gone to their heads.

I went to the office 3 weeks ago, the first time a lady (I don't remember her name) attended me and she was not really helpful, she was a little mean at first. I was not satisfied with her suggestions so I decided to go back next day, this time a different person helped me, he was helpful and seemed professional, he filled out the form to get my SSN. Yesterday, I received my SSN. Thanks for your help!

After waiting 2 hours I use the bathroom. That is when my number gets called. I leave the bathroom 45 seconds later and have missed my appointment. The lazy guard sits there texting saying sorry you will have to sign in again. Go to a different state if need be, DO NOT GO HERE!!

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they gave me incorrect information years ago over the phone. I thought I didn't have the correct supporting documentation because of what I was told. After reviewing the requirements online last week, I went back and got it within about 10 - 15 minutes. The agent was friendly and professional.

I was in and out in literally 5 minutes to change my name and get my new card application turned in. Excellent service, I didn't even get a chance to sit down before they called my number.
