I went in on a Monday morning to inquire about a procedural matter. After a five minute wait, I had my answer and required form provided by a very helpful woman, there on her first day. Returned on Tuesday with form and supporting documents. After a five minute wait a helpful young man processed my case and I was out the door. I do note that I went in person to office after the phone line proved very useless.

I have been trying to reach SSA since January for my name change after my marriage and have NOT been able to reach anyone and since nobody is allowed down there, this process has been a literally pain. When I was able to talk to someone the phones kept getting disconnected. Option to be able to go down there should be available because of situations like this. P.s currently have been waiting nearly 40 mins for someone to answer the phone. :(

i've encountered the rude, condescending, insecure and obviously burned out type of assistance at the waukesha ssa in the past that others have left feedback on. unfortunately, that type or interaction leaves a deeper impression in our limbic brain structure, than the positive encounters that i think most employees there try to create. i had the pleasure of discussing my case with one such individual there today, named jordan. she was kind, respectful and patient with my questions about ss. she successfully assisted me with my application. her customer service was excellent and i hold her in the highest regard. my limbic system breathed a sigh of relief. thanks jordan !

The person I spoke to, named Audrey, was excellent. I have never experienced such professional, compassionate and helpful service anywhere as this. Thank you Audrey!

I received great over the phone service. Yes, it too a while to stay hold, but it was well worth it. The gentleman helping me went above and beyond answering my questions and was very friendly. Thank you!

I called today about what my options were for changing my name on my social security card. The lady I spoke to was nothing but rude to me. Asked me if I was trying tocommit fraudwhen I asked if there was any online portals I needed to go through. I thought I was able to call and ask clarifying questions. I guess not... Very disappointed with the service.

I got a appointment scheduled because the SSN card for my newborn was sent out but never received. Everytime I called the people I spoke to were super vague on what I needed to bring and never told me what wasnu2019t accepted. At my appointment and older women with curly hair and glasses spoke over me wouldnu2019t let me explain my story or situation. She waved my drivers licenses in my face, told me I was a bad listener, made a rude comment about my newborn and made it seem like I was wasting HER time. I hope she gets removed from this place because as a new learning mom she was very rude and disrespectful

I had a phone call experience with a very nice lady today. Of course I forget her name as soon as I write this. I would like to say that she was one of the nicest people I have ever had experience with in customer service situations. She was outstanding. Very understanding of my situation.

Wow, very rude clerk. Even when I went up smiling! When I asked for clarification on documents needed for a replacement card, because I was told differently on the phone (older, brunette long wavy hair, overweight) she rolled her eyes and saiddid I say that?andyou're making me repeat myselfI couldn't believe it. Incredibly rude person, in just a 4 min. interaction. She kept cutting me off. What a a horrible life one must have, to speak to the public like that. Or she HATES her job. And in front of my DAUGHTER. Shame on her. There is no excuse to speak to a person looking for help like that. One star for ease of check-in process and acceptable wait time.

I had the opportunity to visit the Waukesha, WI Social Security office this morning. I'd like to commend Nancy for her outstanding service. She was pleasant, kind, professional, caring and took the time to explain things and patiently allowed the opportunity to make decisions without being rushed. It was a lot of complicated information to take in so to be treated with such kindness and respect really meant so much. Thank you!

I arrived about 15 minutes after opening to change my name after getting married. I wasn't even seated for a minute before I was called up. Process was easy. Staff was not particularly friendly, but certainly not rude. Knowledgable and prompt, however she said I would be able to change my drivers license at the DMV but I was not able to without waiting 24 hours. Overall pleased.

People always review & make sure to write bad things. I actually had a great experience & it took only about 15-20 min & they were very fast, efficient, & pleasant. Even parking was pretty easy! So thank you kindly & you guys do great.

Staff is not knowledgeable/helpful at all. Staff will claim issues are resolved only to find out nothing has been fixed.

It's a mix. Sometimes service over the top. Sometimes demeaning and showing impatience with you, when it is the SS system that can be a mess, can't communicate with itself, etc.
