Greenfield Office Is Awesome!nnKatie was great! She calculated my Windfall Elimination Provision and answered questions concerning the Government Pension Offset. Wait time on the phone of 12 minutes was well worth it. I now can make an informed decision.

This office is TERRIBLE. We have been trying to contact someone regarding a compassionate allowance SSDI claim for OVER A MONTH now. there is still no response even after leaving more than 10 voicemails.nI've been told to call upper management by another local social security office, but now the Greenfield Office phone lines are all busy.

If I could rate 0 star, I would. The security gard is very nice but the person on the window is super rude. He yelled at me with very angry face and don't even listen to me. I don't even finish what I came for. They really need to do a better job here!!!!

I called this morning after waiting for more than 20 times because the calls were dropping. Called again and after getting a represenative on the phone she became very very rude and made comments that were not apporpiate. very unprofessional!!!!

I keep calling in the morning no one answer after 20 mint waiting even when they answer they close phone after 20 minutes this is not right I understand people work from home but they should do some work I called everyday Iu2019m the morning for like 20 times and no one answer

Drop box is inside the building so you canu2019t bring anything outside of business hours. The workers are also all very unhelpful, and dismissive.

Who wouldu2019ve thought that Iu2019d be writing a positive review for a social security office? Not me, but I am. Itu2019s all thanks to the wonderful phone service and attention I received from Dan. He worked diligently to help, exploring all possibilities, and all pleasantly and with empathy and kindness. He explained things well and took the time to listen and answer my questions thoroughly. Finally, Dan encouraged me to call the office if I had any further questions or concerns. The only reason itu2019s at 4 stars is because of the time involved (for which Dan apologized).

Usually I expect to get an attitude, someone impatient or quick answers from any important phone call. I spoke to Mr. Russel today and was pleasantly surprised. He answered my question and even gave me examples. Everything having to do with retirement is confusing to me. The fact that Russel had the patience to explain things in different scenarios and reassure me made all the difference.

Amazing customer service! Tony was such a pleasure to work with. Very kind and helpful!nnI missed my appointment and forgot to call to cancel (because I thought I needed some paperwork before I could start a claim), 10 min after my scheduled appointment time he called me and let me know I could do everything over the phone, even if I didnu2019t have all of the documents yet. He helped alleviate so much stress and let me know I could send in the documents when I got them. He wrote his personal extension on the paperwork that was mailed out and even called to check up when he hadnu2019t received any of the documents yet. I was blown away by this! Thank you Tony!

No one answers the phone, it takes me in circles, and there is no where on the website to make an appointment. Not a quality business!

I waited 7 months after I filed & completed a application due to not being able too work from injury & got denied the same day they reviewed my application 7 months later! The medical records show proof of my medical issue but still denied? GIVE ME A BREAK! I guess you have too have a foot in the grave for them to give you benefits!

I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received. There were a lot of people waiting, but they handled everyone quickly and efficiently. I only waited about 15 minutes to be called. There was not a shortage of employees that would make people wait overly long. The person who helped me, Neil, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and processed my information in less than 5 minutes. The security person at the door was also very welcoming and helped me with the sign in at the kiosk. Only criticism of this office would be lack of parking. The lot is small, and many spaces reserved for handicapped parking. People were parked on the street, and I went around the corner to park in a bank parking lot. Also - I tried to call the 800 number to give Neil and the office a good review. The recording said my wait to talk to someone was 1 hour. That's ridiculous, but doesn't reflect on this facility.

Website was not super helpful. The Greenfield location is closed right now due to covid. I called and waited 5 minutes. I called again around 12pm and waited 7 minutes but someone eventually answered. He was very polite and helpful. All you have to do to change your name when you get married is mail the office your name change form and a copy of your marriage license. That's it!
    Christine Almeida
The representative was pleasant but could not help me apply for my husbands benefits or answer my questions, and booked me to see a counselor. Not only do I need to do a return trip, but there was no one who could see me for over a month! There was hardly anyone in the place on a Friday afternoon at 3:15.

The service is great except there where two times I dealt with 2 ladyu2019s who really didnu2019t care to help me with my son ssi benefits except cut my son off his benefits when I was explaining there was a glitch in the system and she still said no I cannot help you and walked away from the cubicle and said have a good weekend, well I came back another time and dealt with a gentlemen who was very respectful understanding individual. I didnu2019t have to say anything he noticed the mess up and immediately turned my son benefits and even said it was a the glitch in the system in which the other lady refused to fix and was rude even when she looked into it! I feel If you donu2019t care help those who are disabled whether itu2019s physically mentally emotionally or just retired and are receiving this benefit and your heartless and this miserable at your day job then I suggest you quit your job and find a new one all these people who receive SSI need it for some reason and they do not come to office to get negative services and have to worry if they are going to get the two ladies who hate there job and wanna take there benefits away like seriously! Besides these two bad apples, 5 star services and the people are wonderful and very helpful people.

Arrived just after opening. Had approx. 20 people ahead of me. Was in and out in 16 minutes . Security person very open and friendly. Helped some of the older folks with the computer sign in. Desk person friendly and polite and very efficient.nThis is my second visit to this office and the first was as impressive as this one.

Quick and easy for social security card but poor customer service. I read on social security website to wait 24 hours before going to DMV for duplicate name change driver's license but decided to verify with employee at SS location. She actually told me I could head over there now, with receipt from social security office and old card. I went to DMV, waited, took picture and everything; got up to pay and receive new license paperwork and was told I need to wait for physical SS card in mail. These employees clearly are NOT informed! Waste of time and gas money. I've also had issues with open hours...website states close at 3:30 but I arrived at 2:30 one day and they were closed - update your websites and train employees!

Mostly young employees but they go out of the way to help. Need a number from a guard (old fashioned but quick) or sign-in on screwy, unrelible electronic number issuing machine. The numbers prevent squabbles! This location has shorter lines then other locations in Milwaukee. And like in most government offices a bit slow calling in customers after nose poking and pretending to be engaged in deep thinking. However, the office employees here are much more efficient and helpful then on 7th St & Mitchell or the unpleasant on Wisconsin Ave. I'm talking from experience. I recommend this office wholeheartedly.

Went there today at9. No parking anywhere. People honking their horn at me to move and I couldn't. Very bad experience. Plus old people bus taking up half the parking lot. Got tired and I left. What is z good time to go there?

In the past month Iu2019ve been here 4 times for different issues. The service has always been friendly and fast. I havenu2019t waited longer than 30min, even when ever seat had been full.

They kept hanging up the phone not letting me speak. Really rude people wasted so much time for nothing.

Since Covid-19 you can't even get in the office. I called today asking if I could stop in for my awards letter and the man on the phone was rude.
