Husband and I stopped in today without an appointment. Very nice and friendly security guard who helped us sign in and we only waited 3 minutes before called upon. The young man who took care of both of us was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.nThe only complaint I had was the continued requirement of mask wearing while the rest of the country is now mask free and we have both been triple vaccinated.

I called and was told I have to use the drop box because they are all working from home. I drove 1.5 hrs to find out the drop box is only open until 4pm. They could have told me on the phone. The social security administration is a joke.

Held for a long time to get a person on the phone, then I'm told I have to send myoriginalcopies of my birth certificate, marriage license, and driver's license to get my name changed. I was incredulous! If I send my driver's license, then I don't have one to carry with me for thecouple weeksit takes to get it back IF it doesn't get lost in the mail or in red tape. That's crazy!!! And what if someone just randomly gets it delivered to the wrong address?--that happened with my driver's license last year--someone else has all my documents. NO FLIPPIN' WAY!

Filed for my spouses social security a few months ago and I spoke with Klarissa. She was very friendly, explained all of my options for benefits, was able to answer every question I had without hesitation. She really knows her stuff and she returned my phone call within the week when I had questions about taxes. Got my benefits today and I couldnu2019t be happier with the service I received.

I am thrilled with the competence and concern from one individual at the Social Security Office in Wheeling, WV. Mrs. Murphy has been so kind and professional in helping with a very complex problem. This woman deserves special recognition. Others I talked to were of no help, arrogant and rude. She is truly a rose among the thorns.

This SSI office has to be the worst in the nation I've been to many other states at ssi buildings, and at this one the Staff is rude inconsiderate and have no training what so ever. If you go here do not speak to. Lady named Jill she is awful and she makes everyone that walks in there feel like they are scum. There is another woman with black hair who has a beard and she is a total jerk. I've never in my life been to a place with this bad of service. How is it that I can walk into this office come out with no results go to another state and come out with exactly what I needed in the first place. They are here to service people with Special Needs and yet this office has done none of that. Just horrible!!!
