    I do not enjoy giving 1 star reviews, but I have been trying to call this office for 2 months and am on hold for 15-20 minutes and then the hold music cuts off and the call drops. This happens every time I call. I am just trying to submit my name change. I then decided I would just send everything through mail with tracked Express shipping through USPS. They attempted to deliver the envelope twice and now and it is labeled as needing to be picked up at the post office due to not being able to deliver. I understand it is likely they are needing more staff, but it would be nice to have some sort of alternate communication method if the phone is not the way to go with someone to figure out what it going on and how I can get my business accomplished.nnUPDATE: After two weeks of my tracked envelope sitting at the post office it was finally picked up. I received a letter back stating that they needed me to mail my actual drivers license and would return it to me once processed...... still cannot reach a representative.

    If I could give them a zero I would!! I have been trying off and on for over a year to get in to get my daughters social security that I never received after she was born. I sit on the phone for hours on hold just to get hung up on. Finally after calling 50 times a week I get ahold of someone. They say their supervisor will call me back with an appointment time and never receive a call back. So I start all over again calling for several days in a row at all different times and still no answer. Or someone answers and all you hear is them typing then you get hung up on. Finally talk to soMeone again after months of calling she again says she can not make appointments only her supervisor can so she calls him. No answer. She says sheu2019s extremely sorry and will email everything you her supervisor and I should get a call back with in 72 hours. I explain Iu2019m going to lose my daughters insurance with out it.. still no call. So I finally go drop off everything at the office and cross my fingers that I get all my stuff back and her card. Well itu2019s now been 10 weeks and Iu2019m still with out her card. I did receive my stuff back with a letter saying her card is being processed, that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing!!

    This Puyallup Office doesn't keep the appointment scheduled. I waited all day to get a phone call appointment... never received a scheduled phone call. They rescheduled me for another 3 weeks, its the same thing. did not receive a call. They said, delayed calls will be at a minimum (whatever minimum is-- 4 hours? until their office is closed. Worst is, they lied, they said they called me; however, I have been watching my phone, nothing was recorded that SS Puyallup office called. I'm really frustrated, I pleaded to just stop by instead of waiting for their call, they said their office is closed. I think they should hire more staff so they can keep up with promised scheduled phone call appointment.
    I have been trying to make an appointment for the last two weeks. I keep calling and the phone is never answered. Finally I called back again today and after several attempts, someone opened the line and sat there typing without saying a word. I could hear everything that was going on then the person hung up. I donu2019t think customer service can be any worse!!!

    It took me over two months to even get a hold of these guys being put on hold for 20 minutes and then the phone call would just end. The security guard was really nice but the supervisor with the long blonde hair was a real b!tch. The lady that was helping me was going to reschedule mean instead of me having to try and get a hold of them again and the supervisor lady told her no even though she had full capability of doing it at her computer 0/10 worst experience ever. She close the blinds in my face and told me to leave. Unprofessional rude and useless. One star is being generous

    Seriously the worst, rude and unhelpful. Was PURPOSELY disconnected. I could hear the person breathing on the line after they answered never was helped waited a collected 2 hours!!! All I wanted was to make an appointment to fix something they messed up in the first place.

    After calling for hours to to try to get an appointment, because they are only taking appointments, no walk-ins, and I am still trying to get through. Recordings say that you'll wait 15 minutes to talk with someone, but I I've called numerous times, sometimes it doesn't even go through. I've spent literally hours waiting on hold to get through to talk with someone to try to make an appointment, and I still haven't got through.

    I've tried calling 3 different times cause it's been more than 3 weeks since I've sent off for a new social security card and literally cannot work or get medical insurance without it. No one is answering the phone. The automated voice has hung up on me three different times.nnWhoever is working at this office needs to be fired. All of them.

    The worst!!! I recently got married and was trying to change my last name. Made an appointment on 8/31, submitted my paperwork, the lady who helped me only took my drivers license and marriage license.. didnu2019t bother asking for anything else. A few days later received a letter in the mail saying I didnu2019t show proof of citizenship when I had my US passport with me during my appointment!!! I called the office & the person I talked to said to come back next week 9/9 at 10:45 am. I arrive and they tell me Iu2019m not on the appointment list!!! I am now on hold for 45 mins trying to talk to another person who can help! Thatu2019s even if I can talk to anyoneu2026Iu2019ve been hung up on three times now. Unbelievable!!! This place is a joke.

    Since they are closed I mailed them my documents and application. 2 weeks later they sent me my documents back with no informationu2026.am I getting my social security card? Was there an issue?     Every time I have dealt with something at this administration they have been unhelpful, rude, or outright belligerent. I have been trying to get a name change done after I got married last year and every single person I talked to gave me different instructions, contradicted each other, etc. I just called only to CONFIRM that my name change was processed in the system and the woman I was speaking to cut me off before I could even greet her and fully explain what I was calling about. Even though she was being incredibly rude at the end of my conversation I thanked her and she hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. I am not sure how every single social security office I've been to (four now, thank you SS) can have so many incompetent people working there.

    I called the Puyallup office today at 915 talked to Tony at 917 and he was excellent. Researched my issue had it resolved, professional , efficient and caring in 10 minutes. Great Great experience, like I said to Tony best government phone call ever and you are a credit to SS..thank you..

    Been struggling to get our childs social security card for some time now. First attempt was rejected. Second attempt we called to confirm our paperwork was correct before sending. Some clown on the phone confirmed so we mailed everything in only to have them reject it again. I'm going to have to file for a tax extension because these jokers have no idea how to do their job.

    We have an issue with Social Security & incorrect information and called the Puyallup office for help. We called on 2 occasions and were provided GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE by Rob and Miss Boyd. Both of them went beyond what we expected. Probably the BEST service we rec'd from any other vendor/company. Although we still need to write a letter to Soc. Sec.     How is it that I send in an application with my name on it and get a letter back addressed as u2018Courtneyu2019? Do they even pay attention to what it is theyu2019re doing over there? Ridiculous. And the constant ATTITUDE. Cutting someone off with u201cNahu201d and u201cuh-uhu201d is so unprofessional and rude.
