It's been about 6 weeks since my girlfriend turned in all her identifying paperwork to get her Social Security Card. Firstly we were told todrop it in the mailboxbut their office has no actual mailbox attached to it. They apparently share a mailbox with the rest of the offices in the building but we were never told that. So we slid it under the foyer door and it supposedly was on some pile of paperwork on some person's desk there for weeks. Then it was sent to the homeless shelter my girlfriend stayed at but they rejected it and didn't tell us. So now Laura's birth certificate and State ID are supposedly in a mail distribution center in Spokane where they've sat for going on 3 more weeks now. So glad you're protected from Covid though. A 10 minute meeting could have saved us from WEEKS of hassle. This has nearly ruined our lives...

I had the pleasure of speaking and getting amazing help from Jordan today. The support I received was very thorough and timely! My issue was addressed with a single interaction! Jordan was very polite and Professional which made the whole process 10x easier.

After a reasonable hold time, I spoke with Danielle today (a very busy SSA day) at the Kennewick WA office number regarding several change of Medicare coverage and Part B premium questions - I was unable to find the answers online. Danielle was informed, detailed and pleasant. All my questions were answered, and I felt very confident in the accuracy/completeness of her information. A great SSA experience!

When consulting, you can get a different answer depending on who you speak with. That's critical when you are income dependent. The last man I spoke with was so rude, spoke so fast with a strong accent that I suggested that he speak slower or I speak with a supervisor. He was unwilling to give me one, and then began speaking very slowly like I was 3 yrs old. I was a Fed for 32 years. We never treated the Public that poorly.

I received a letter for a SSN name changed in Jan 25th, and it has been 4 weeks until now. I called in to check up with whatu2019s going on. The lady was super rude saying that thereu2019s nothing showing on her side. I tried to explain and finally she said the application is not matched. And I asked do you mind telling me which document is not matched because I did everything you guys requested. Guess what? She said NO and hung up on me. Like at least do your research before telling your customers NO.nShe didnt even turn on her tracking website yet, and told me thereu2019s nothing showing up. She let me wait without saying a word, and clearly gave me an attitude. This is my second time applying for a SSN name changed and itu2019s actually painful.

Just trying to get answers on my new born daughters social security. Immediately they have a attitude in there tone. When asking what happened to the paperwork we sent. They immediately dodge my question and when I ask to speak to supervisor they ask me why, and when I got put on hold they hang up on me.

These people working here need to go through some type of training to help them improved their customer relationship skills. They are horribly rude and act like you should know how to do their job.
    Alexa Rodriguez
The environment is very negative from employees. From my perspective, employees talked down to recipients and make no effort to help answer questions. Very disappointed by this all staff I encountered.

I have been waiting over three months for my social security card and proof of marriage certificate back, and can not even get through to speak with someone in the office to see where it is! This has been frustrating and very inconvenient for me! What is up with the office here in Kennewick??? Youu2019re supposed to be able to make an appointment to actually go inu2026 not if they donu2019t answer the phone!

Very rude, and they treat you like trash. And when you call they treat you worst. The donu2019t explain anything to you.

I have never experience such rudeness & its every single person in this place, sadly! There supposed to be there to help the disabled and the elderly which takes compassion and kindness which none of these people have. Constantly acting like you don't turn in your documentation while there sending letters saying that you owe them, when we had no control over the amount of money they've given out! They calculate we don't & most already struggling as it is. They ALL should be so ashamed of themselves and how they treat the public!

Jordon who works there is so so so rude. Iu2019m not the only one who think so as well. Iv had this problem with jordon and him being rude for a year now. I called to apply for my nephew and he said for what and was really rude about it as if he knew my nephew when he dosnt, I hung up and called again to talk to someone else because when I asked jordon if I can talk to someone else he said no and for what! He acts like he can get away with treating people like this when it isnu2019t ok at all and not professionally at all, Carl helped me and thank you as for jordon heu2019s very rude and needs a little help with being nicer to people.nAshley Vargas

Always great. Had to call on the phone since they are taking precautions for their staff and I completely understand. My wait on the phone wasn't to long and the gentleman that helped me was very nice and professional as well in understanding mine and my families situation and as to why I was calling.

Just got out of the office, the who helped us was so rude, I ask him a question and all he did was look at his fingers and shared into space, the guy was in window 1. He acted likes we weren't even there, place could barely understand him. If your going to help someone than you should like your job. Someone who is rude or just don't care shouldn't be helping people who need help..

I came in 2008 and I got social Security benefits and then in 2014 they cut it off and then when I got my citizenship they wouldnu2019t give me anymore benefits because I wasnu2019t u201cdisabledu201d I think having one leg and cancer counts as a disability. They are bias and you only have to know someone that knows someone that knows someone just to get benefits. They donu2019t treat people with respect. They hire them to treat people with respect and they donu2019t. We are human too

Wait time isn't bad just every time i call i get a very rood person its simple questions i ask and all i get from the person is well you should know how long this process takesif i knew I wouldn't be calling to ask. Im sorry if i sounded rood but i did say if you dont like answering the phone then i do suggest to take a position there where you dont have to even have a phone close by.

Jordan is a great professional extremely committed and knowledgeable. He manages to turn the process in such a pleasant experience taken the pressure of applying for your benefits he was able to help my mother understand what it will take for her to apply for benefits at earlier retirement. And he was very helpful because he was able to help her in Spanish.

Surprisingly good service for a government office, but that's still sub par for any commercial establishment. Security guard is very friendly, and seems more helpful than the rest of the staff. That man alone deserves 5 stars. I don't like that I'm prohibited from concealed carrying on the premise, but again, government office; what'd you expect? Staff is generally professional, but they do seem to sometimes emulate Patty and Selma from The Simpsons a little too spot-on.

I called confused about something I had to do and was connected with a very rude person it may have been their tone but as a customer service worker its not good for business to be rude to a customer even if alot of people rely on you, doesn't give you the right to be a jerk.
    Veronica AlSumaeel
Just left this place with a HORRIBLE experience the Guy in window 1 along with his side tax doller guy are horrible. The window 1 guy degrading me about why I want to add my Spanish last name and why I wanted to updae my name along with mentioning my previous last names in a degrading way. He is an awful worker to have he and the other one going along with him. Iu2019d hate my kids, mother or anyone to experience such an awful degrading experience they REALLY need to do something about this place and treat us in a proper way.

Awful service, pain in the behind to get a new SSC, especially with it only online or by mail. Silly when there's an office in town.

Had the pleasure of communicating with Jordan and it was really bad!!! He has no professionalism and was belittling. Had the correct paperwork to have a name change on a ss card and he said he needed court documents stating of the change. Which the ss web site says we just need a birth certificate with name change which we had. This guy has some complex he needs to get over!!! Iu2019m reaching out to Baltimore to file a complaint because he was superiorly that bad and no one should have to deal with a that kind of attitude!!

Iu2019ve called this office twice and the man I speak to is incredibly hard to understand (speaks fast, quietly and mumbles) and not the most helpful. Itu2019s extremely inconvenient since we canu2019t go into the office in person right now so have to rely on phone support!
    Jennifer Clay
Terrible service at this location. Everything I said was repeated back in a demeaning way. They seem to realize as a government agency they donu2019t need to provide adequate service or treat you like a fellow human being.

The staff at the SSA office in Kennewick Washington is phenomenal. All the staff there do take their time to listen to each individual client that enters our building. Top notch staff top notch results keep up the awesome work

First off, note the address: 8131 W Klamath Ct, NOT 8131 W. Grandridge, which is right across Klamath Ct. I arrived a few minutes past 9, when they opened, and stood in line to enter the room, where I was greeted by a friendly computer kiosk that asked me several questions, then spit out a numbered receipt. Expecting to wait, I took a book. The wait wasn't long, and the only problem were the screaming kids. I guess either their parents are deaf, or think the screams are cute. The acoustics in the room suck bilge water. The young lady who helped me was friendly, compassionate, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. All in all I was in and out in about 40 minutes, and except for the wee monsters screeching, not bad. (The office has no control over the wee monsters)
