    This is thee worst business around! They wonu2019t open the building up to public because supposedly Covid when every other business has opened. You canu2019t get nothing you need, you can never get anyone on the phone it is horrific! They rob so much money and wonu2019t even get a decent phone system. You just hold! Donu2019t hear nothing while holding donu2019t know how long your gonna be on hold nothing! Also who told you people that as grown ups we canu2019t save our own money for retirement?     They're extremely underfunded and understaffed, but always as helpful as they're able to be and really nice!nMake sure to always call them a few hours ahead of your appointment to confirm and check in; and if you haven't gotten a call back on something, call them at least an hour before they close!

    We went in May 2022 (without an appointment), and all of the staff were both very nice and efficient too!nnContext: We arrived at 845am, parked in the 1 hour street parking, and were first in line. If we arrived any later we may have faced a significantly longer wait (since only 4 windows were open at a time).

    This place is a hit or miss sometimes you get lucky and actually speak to a NICE ! First was the disconnected line tone, second was ringing for a few minutes and abrupt hang-up, third was an automated service but when I pressed zero to speak to someone, the auto-voice said that my call could not be completed and it hung up. How am I supposed to contact SSA if I CANT CONTACT THEM?!

    Horrible attitudes and customer service. They wouldn't speak to my partner because the women on the phone said he didn't sound like a man and is not a man. Discrimation if you ask me. Knowing the rep this place has doubt they care about this incident anyway just wanted to let everyone be aware of these people.

    I really cannot believe that they are still closed with no plans to reopen anytime soon. They want You to send documents through the mail as far as me and just needing a simple name change they want me to send them my drivers license. Which I will not do. I think they need to reevaluate and start opening back up to the public again because not everything can be done over the phone and sometimes you like to see people in person and not wait on the phone for two hours

    This has hands down been the most stressful office to deal with- Iu2019ve dealt with Ms. McGill and another male representative and itu2019s been nothing but stress which is contributing to my disability.nI literally have to hang up due to -talking over me/cutting me off and arguing.nI understand this job could be stressful but working from home for almost 2 years should make up for it.nThis office literally treat you like youu2019re less than human.nI love where I live but, Iu2019m most likely going to have to move out of state or another part of Virginia -due to the treatment from this location.

    Need to open office, appointment make over the telephone if you miss the call , you have to reschedule which can be up to a month for another appointment ,so you better stick by the telephone they could call earlier or whatever

    I just had the rudest woman hang up on me. I'm trying to get a copy of the amount of benefits I get per month for 2020 and she's trying to tell me they can't do that and I'm looking at the page on my computer and it says print this page at the bottom . I know why I can't , I don't have a printer but I have no idea why she couldn't or wouldn't . If you don't like dealing with the public find a new line of work .

    Open @ 8:30 am - 5pm. Estimated wait time to speak to someone .. 2hours 45 minutes and counting. Continuously taking money from recipients checks. I was supposed to have $97 taken from each check until an over paid month had been paid back. I was supposed to go back up to $944 a month after June. NOPE .... Now theyu2019re taking over an additional $200 for Medicare .... Iu2019m 26 .... Iu2019m not old enough for Medicare ..... Canu2019t seem to get anyone to answer the phone. Canu2019t help but feel Iu2019m being messed with intentionally. FBI and Federal offices in Washington is my next step. These people are legitimately stealing.

    I went in on Friday at 1:30. I only had to wait 5-10 minutes for my number to be called. I brought the correct completed form to get my name changed. It took the employee less than 5 minutes to process my paperwork and then I was out the door and on my way.

    I am a payee for an SSI recipient today I received a letter exclaiming that I had cashed multiple checks for the month of Jan 2021 this letter show no evidence as to why this claim is being made and only that if I have evidence (which I do) that they are wrong in this claim that they will u201c allow me to present the evidence during a review hearing and after some debate will then send me a letter with there decision u201c but until then I can FEEL FREE TO START SENDING THEM $1300....these people are the laziest worst most incompetent group I have ever seen and how they all still have jobs makes equal question The Who are there superiors

    I just got off the phone with a worker and I feel so heart sick , I was just trying to get my son's information updated, by the time I got off the phone, I felt like I was talked down to and felt so degraded because I could not get her to understand what information I needed so I have a phone appointment, but don't know. if I should even try again ! I just want my son to be able to survive,
