Most unhelpful!!! My Mom sets up an appointment a month in advance. Then the day of the appointment. No one called!! Finally, after 2 hours of me calling the office to see why no one contacted her.... The guy was rude and said now they have to set another appointment 2 months out! What is wrong with this office???

Been turning in my husband's check stubs every month and have to call them to fix my daughter's check because they keep cutting it cause the stubs keep disappearing. They said I didn't put the right info on there so I asked to talk to a supervisor and he wouldn't let me. Not to mention I haven't heard a thing from our case worker. This has been going on every since they shut down to the public. Also don't even try to make an appointment even though the phone system says we can. They don't mind cutting the checks fast but when it comes to fixing them, they have all the time in the world. The only one that has helped was Mrs. Cooper, she got it done in a day.

I had a medical settlement an had to do a spend down they have all my new receipts but my Worker is saying it takes time. I have been struggling to pay my bills during the pandemic now that it's not more stimulus money coming I've had to use text now to make phone calls why is that my Worker can't get help so I can get my income back. My health it's good so I can't work. I had a heart attack in February from being under so much stress my Worker needs to have a heart. If I could work I'd be doing that but I can't. I've been praying an crying because I'm not able to get help for myself. I've gotten not one letter explaining nothing. When I call I'm not called back. It was said I could wait till September an that's exactly what my Worker is trying to make me wait to. My payee is paying the rent an gas bill outta his check from social security that's not right I have been able to meet my personal needs at all. But GOD will keep me from giving up because I feel he's the only one who hears my cry

Currently very displeased with their service, I have been disabled for going on 13 years and I'm fighting tooth and nail to get my benefits back after they took them from me. I have never had issues reinstating them or even reapplying for them. I now have to hire a lawyer and take this to court..this is the only state that has ever done this to me. I still can't believe that haven't reinstated my benefits even though the case is very clear cut and I've been receiving benefits for well over a decade. I would say for any of you that have benefits and are looking to get them renewed.. you are in for a fight..

If i could give this place no star rating during this pandemic i would. Its been horrible to reach case workers since the pandemic. My husband been trying to reach his for a week now leaving messages and never getting a call back. Its like they on a permanent vacation. What's going on?

My son was trying to get my grandaughters social security card. We have an hours drive to get there. The woman at the counter was very nasty and even though we had her birth certificate would not help us get the card. She was so rude and nasty even though we explained to her how hard it was to get there. You apparently need to bring something to prove where she lives even if your her parent .

I have recently talked to two Social Security representatives and they BOTH were EXCELLENT. Both were VERY COMPETENT and NICE. And to think I was reticent to go talk with them for years? I highly recommend the Martinsville location. I can't say enough positive things about my experience! THANK YOU!
