SSA Farmville office is: Always helpful. Donu2019t keep me waiting forever. If mistakes are made quickly fix issues. Much preferred over North Chesterfield cramped overcrowded office.

Waited about 30 minutes just to MAKE an appointment...had to stand in lobby and talk over a counter so everyone hears your business -even whispering SSN...needed to cancel and reschedule appt but only number goes to a LONG wait time (last count was 45 minutes). Not very good customer service. Plus the other number given on my info went to someone's private cell!!

Non-professional, non-helpful, ignorant of information.nHire better staff that are up-to-date with what tax forms and relavence of information are dealing with issues. If a gov't worker doesn't know the difference between a tax form and a 'prize' are they shouldn't hold a position deal with said issues. They are more trouble than solution.
    Rebecca Overstreet
On hold 40 minutes until after 4pm. Never got to get anything done or leave a call back number at their convenience.
    Michele Peters
I have been trying to reach them for three days. I have been placed on hold each time for over 50 minutes and then hung up on. If the service got worse it would be hard to imagine.
