    Like every one else said, phone service is horrible. It takes multiple minutes to get through the automated messaging maze, and it's a coin flip if the people actually pick up the phone. The people who work there are rude and a textbook example of lazy government employees. Bright side, they take walk ins now but will stop you at the door and assertively inquire if you have all the required documents before letting you walk in. Very poor and frustrating customer service provided.

    I don't know why I cant get a return call.? I call the person who is listed as a point of contact on the paper work I was sent in the mail. I've left voice mail but get no return call back.? Frustrating. I do not understand how they get away with it.? Who do these people answer to?

    I have tried to update my husband and my own Citizenship information twice through mail and each time our applications were returned because they want original driver's license or passport to accompany the Original Citizenship certificates. They won't allow any in-person appointments and We both have to drive for work and travel by air. It amazes me that It is safe/mandatory to send our kids to school with/without mask in this Pandemic but Government offices, like SSA and Passport offices are closed for in-person appointments.

    Wait time for a mid Friday morning was less than 10 minutes and young lady assisting me in changing my direct deposit was nice knew her job well and processed my request quickly and told me it would take effect for my March payment. Thank You ud83dude0a for the great service

    We had to apply for a replacement SS card for my son because we lost it in the move and needed something quickly to enroll him in school. I dreaded making the hour drive only to meet the Beetle Juice waiting room. I had proper ID and documentation (including a filled out application) and I was in and out in 20 minutes, no joke. The gentleman that filed the paperwork for me was sweet as pie and looked like Iron Man. He was efficient enough that within the 20 minutes I was on the property we had time to reminisce on quality Cajun sausages and discuss Texan pronunciation- this man is giving bureaucracy a good name!

    Had Legal Aid of Wichita County on the phone with me at the window with the Social Security staff member. Legal aid wanted me to ask for a list of form numbers and I was asked to sign somemostly blanksignature page first. I was asked to leave and the list of forms was never provided to me for Legal Aid. My signature under duress was never provided to the Social Security staff person either. Barney Fifeprobably enjoyed that afternoon!

    The one in Lawton was,too busy to handle methat day, as I found out over the phone. The one in Wichita Falls gave me a whole lot better service. Even though it was an extra 35 mile drive, they got me checked in quickly, and at the window after 15 minutes. The man was very pleasant and worked to find a solution to my problem. He gave me several options to choose from, and then gave me details about how to go and fix online, my problem. I will be coming back to this location.

    A breath of fresh air!!! I used to live in Lakewood Washington so I would use the social security office located off Oakes street in Tacoma Washington and if you had to go you might as well check the whole day off if you even get though the door before the security officer sends you away sayingcome back tomorrow we're filled to capacitygrr! Here I'm literally in and out in less than an hour on their busiest days :)
