This office will not answer the phone. When you call you get put on hold for the next available representative and you wait and then it just goes dead. You can call again, but the same thing happens. They need reported to someone higher up. Does anyone know the number of the person I should contact. Have called 5 times and the same thing happens. They need to open their doors, like the rest of the world. SSA is an essential business and they are not getting it done by phone or online. Ridiculous!!!! I am so frustrated. All i need is a replacement card for my granddaughter. I have gone to the website and researched it. Still confused. Her passport will work, but you would have to mail it to SSA and who knows if you would ever get it back, so I can't take that chance. If the office was open I could carry it in and it would be a simple task.

Yall will not answer the phone at all not to mention I'm in desperate need of important papers then yall say we have to make appointment to be seen. Well, how are we supposed to make appointments if yall ain't doing yalls job and answering the phone? I've been calling several weeks now and staying on the waiting line for hours and just to get disconnected and then can't log into my online account because it says I need to contact yall. So very disappointed.nnUPDATE: I called 4 different texas social security offices and finally got Dallas Texas to answer so if yall in texas call the Dallas texas office and if Arkansas I read that someone said you can call Little Rock Office.

they take forever to answer, if they even do. I just wanted to ask a question. I found out they have drop box (if you don't want to mail your paperwork) in the lobby during the hours of 9AM-4PM on Mon, Wed, and Fri. Hope this helps. I think the local office needs to add this to their voice menu to help folks navigate a little easier.

No one is ever available to take my call. Denied disability for the third time and the reason is the same. They feel like I can still find gainful employment with constant need of a heating pad to soothe chronic back pain w/o medication. Please tell me what company on the face of the earth that is willing to hire someone who needs to stop working to let back pain subside from anywhere from five to forty-five minutes or even hours on end sometimes. Please inform me of job that will allow me to bring a heating pad to work and stay on it all day until my shift ends. I need help and this place thinks everyone coming through the door is fraudulent, so they will treat you in that manner. If you are look for people who care about their jobs, dont expect to find them here. Look for judgemental racism and unkind hearts here. 0 stars of possible.

This was my first time ever having to go into the SS office and it was the best experience. First it was very quick, I know it isnu2019t always that way but it was for me. My aunt got my ticket for me as I had to run out to the car and as soon as she did we were called on. I have really bad social anxiety so I was VERY nervous to even have to talk. The man that we had seen was ex military. He made me feel so comfortable, he joked around with me and really made me feel at home. He got the job done very fast. My aunt had him last time and said she had the same experience. I know you donu2019t always have a good experience, nor do I when dealing with people but this was hands down the BEST!

They haven't answered any calls from us or our attorney since winning our case in May, withholding three years of back pay awarded in the judgement and it's a new year already. Still no answers and not open at the office building itself. One star rating is too much.

Today, on the advice of a friend, around 10am, my husband and I went to the Texarkana social security office for me to apply for spousal benefits.nWe checked in, the security guard, very kindly and apologetically, took my crochet hook(he said that it was on the list potential hazards and he would give it back when we left) and were told to be seated. There were at least 25 people and 3 cubicles out front.nAt 10:30 my name was called to apply for spousal benefits. When my name was called we went through a door where there were at least 25-30 cubicles.nMs. Florene Powell, a very pleasant woman, asked several questions, made the application online, and then said that I will be getting a check starting in August. I couldn't quit laughing in disbelief!nWe were out of the office(with my crochet hook returned to me) by 11:40am.nI couldn't quit laughing, because I wasn't expecting it to be so easy and that I would be getting anything!nThank you so Ms. Florene Powell!

Kim Cowan is never available and when she calls me back, she lets it ring maybe once! There is a lady Ms Perez that was very helpful and kind. I donu2019t know her extension or I would call her for help. As you know, you as a customer do not have a choice. One day it will be there turn:( just sad

While my husband waited to get a copy of his serial number like he is a toaster oven, my young kids were bored and restless. Instead of them running around the waiting room annoying everyone, they decided to play a harmless game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Apparently it isn't so harmless as the security guard yelled at them to stop and said Rock, Paper, Scissors was not allowed there. My kids learned a valueable lesson about the ridiculousness of our government by witnessing it firsthand.
