Tried to get a hold of social security for over a year and they keep hanging up on me and I can't go in person to speak with someone. With my severe stuttering I can't get anything done. Tried online and it won't recognize my social security number says that it's invalid number

Found them to be under staffed at times but they still manage to get people helped as soon as possible without making you feel rushed through. The staff was friendly and to me very helpful. They try to answer any and all questioned you my have. Usually your wait time is no longer then 15 to 20 minutes and that's without an appointment.

Just made a call to ask a few questions about what I need to change my last name. Lori (I believe that's who I spoke to) was super nice and helpful. She was able to answer my questions really quick and I was on my way. I'll be using their office instead of the one in Amarillo since the reviews for that office aren't good at all.

I have called this office for weeks and can't get a real person to answer. I called the national number and they can't give out any real information pertaining to me and my situation. What do I need to do to get someone to answer? Started calling again. Now the recording gives you the run around, keeps you on hold for long periods of time, then hangs up.

They never answer the phone. I started at 9 am to 10 am and got no one. This place is a joke. Everywhere else you can get someone to answer the phone in SSI but not here.
