The best place I've been to, not too crowded, capacity limit of 7 people in turn. no need to make an appointment, The officer requires you to wear a mask, if you don't have a mask they will give it to you, the staff is very enthusiastic and happy, they told me they will receive the ssn in 4-7 days, hope it's true then this place deserves 5 stars

I found this location by looking up the reviews from one of the locations in Houston TX. Someone wrote that the lines and the wait were super long at the local facilities and that this one had no waiting period. So I drove for 1 hour and I am super happy with my decision. I waited 5 minutes before someone helped me and I was done in another 5 minutes with my stuff. My random appointment took only 10 minutes! Plus, the personnel was very informative, helpful and polite! They took all the covid precautions, so I felt very safe and comfortable. One of the best appointments at a governamental facility ever! Highly recommending!!!

So worth the 45 min drive! I walked in at 2:26 on a Wednesday and walked out at 2:43. There were only 2 other people ahead of me. Highly recommend if you donu2019t want to stand in line for hours.

Had to drive from Houston to avoid having to stand outside in the sun for 6-7+ hours (as people are having to do at the Houston locations), but it was completely worth it. They opened right at 9:00am and I was out of there within 15 mins and everyone was friendly and easy to work with!

I called and waited 35 minutes and the phone went silent then and 40 minutes they hangup on you, all I need is an appointment.... How can anyone take care of what they need if they won't answer and u can't walk in anymore

We called with a problem/issue having to do with non- follow up from another office. This is the third time (different reasons) that we have dealt with this office. Every time has been a good experience with each person being most helpful with answers, resolutions, etc. They follow through with action and provide you with the benefit of their experience/knowledge. Very professional. Glad they are in my area.

Visited this office 1/2/2020. Got there at 10:13, and was speaking to a representative at 10:55, I consider a 42 minute wait reasonable, and had no issues with the wait time. My problem was dealing with MySS online, I spoke with the specialist in that area and my problem was solved in less than 10 minutes. I used their computer to log in and set up my account, and left knowing that'd when I returned home it'd work as it should. The guard on duty was very helpful in directing me to who (Sheryl) I needed to see. Thanks Sheryl for your help getting my account set up! Very friends and courteous staff...will return to this location if I need to appear in person for any reason in the future!

Happened to go when they were just wrapping up construction and were apparently using a new procedure to process people. Took about 20 minutes after opening for the first person to be called and ultimately took me 45 mins. total to get in and out and I was second in line. Have a feeling once they work the tweaks out in the new system they will be more proficient but all in all it was far better experience than the Austin or San Marcos locations and the drive there was peaceful as well.

Went to this office to apply for widow benefits and after sitting there for almost a hour My number finally gets called. When I went upto window 4 I was told I needed to make a appointment to apply for benefits and that there were no appointments available for the rest of the month. I was then given a phone number to call at 9am the next morning and sent home. Well when I called the number given to me I was told the lady I spoke withwas wrong and that I did not in fact need to make a appointment. It seems the lady I spoke woth just didn't seem to want to do her job so she lied to me and sent me home. I highly recommend going to a different location.

I can generally walk in to this office and see a rep. fairly quickly. I never feel like a number here and they can usually resolve my issue and answer my question. It's usually clean and comfortable.

If you want horrible service and someone giving you an attitude, then call here. We have never had this problem before in the past, but today, just because I wasn't close by when my mom called asking for someone who speaks Spanish. You want to be rude to her? How would you feel if your mother was the one with the language barrier and she wanted someone who spoke English and she was yelled at saying no? Respect if you want to be respected. This is the first time we have had an unhelpful, rude experience and we actually hope it is the last time, because if not, then that explains why it is always empty there. Get another job if you are that miserable.

Called a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment for my mother who is 76 years old but still works full time and needs to change her benefits. I was told last week that all I needed was her social security number to make the appointment. I call today and spoke with this very rude jerk who told me his name was Jason and he stated she had to call herself and I couldn't make the appointment for her. When I asked to speak with a supervisor he refused and told me to call my congressman and hung up.

We were treated with kindness and respect and the wait was far easier than a trip to the DPS office by far.

Don't bother without an appointment. They'll tell you on the phone that they take walk-ins and then after you drive an hour to get there they'll set you up an appointment to come back in a month.

Sometimes there is a wait sometimes not. Always courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and patient and friendly. ud83dude0d
