I have had two phone calls at different times and the staff has been extremely helpful. I can imagine if you need something the same day, that isn't possible, but this is a federal office - it's not the staff's fault that they are put in this bind to limit contact when everyone else in the free-world of JCTN is going about their business.nI gave them 5 stars because they are friendly and helpful when on the phone and I would have normally got hung up on when I call the regular national SSA office and had no success with the general number. I'm so glad that they are available by phone, can't imagine trying to get my disabled brother and 91 yr old dad - loaded in the car, two wheelchairs, and then having to unload and stand in line - for what can be done on the phone and through mail. For this I am thankful.nI hope when they do open up in April or whenever, they'll still take local phone calls to help with simple things that I needed.

Better than it being open. No wait! 1 quick phone call and I was done in less time than it took me to drive 1 way. I have the phone number on the photos! GREAT JOB!

Because this office is using the covid-19 thing to not wait on customers. I needed only a income letter by the 19th for dental work. All you are doing is finding ways not to help senior's or veterans. They could have seen me just for a letter they have glad between them and the customer and no one was in there. You show more and more that you don't care one bit snot the American people.

So helpful and very geninue in their concerns for your situation(s), whatever might be going on. They are FAST in terms of problem solving and such. I highly recommend this SSA office. I have been on disability for 40 years, and this place, by far, out of 20 offices I've been to, flew to the top of the recognition book in my world. :)

I have normally had a good experience with them. However, some of them could learn to have some compassion towards people.

The wait time on the phone was reasonable and the agent reached out to the agent I couldn't reach in the Chicago work support unit!
