    My wife did apply for SSN on September 24th. And still waiting for SSN. I did received an acknowledgement letter twice - 1 in October and another in November which says you have applied for SSN. I did call at least 5 times till now, every time I spoke to different people and got different response. The last person I spoke with was so frustrated that she said someone nameAriago(sorry if I misspelled here) will call us back and literally hung up the phone. Still waiting for that call back. They are even not ready to give us the appointment to come over and speak to someone on why I have not received SSN, what is missing etc. etc. I am really frustrated to see such irresponsible service and communication for something critical - SSN. Can someone please help us with what's going on with my wife's SSN application ?????

    Ridiculous that they are still closed to the public. It took them 4 weeks just to tell me that they want another form from me before they can process my paperwork and even then, I had to call to see what the hold up was.

    Tried to call and get information about changing my name on my SSC a guy I didnu2019t get the name of, had an attitude with me wouldnu2019t really give me any real answers, put me on hold and then hung up on me. Rude and terrible attitude. Awful service

    Incredibly helpful and respectful folks! I went early and was in and out in 20 minutes!!! So impressed!
    The people that work at the office are absolutely amazing. The ones that work on the phone however, leave you on hold for 15 minutes and then hang up. Which is lovely, when you're trying to get a hold of your SSN's whereabouts and no one actually gives two damns about doing their job right. If you don't want to work just quit, no one's making you do it.

    Actually for going to a government office this one actually is run nicely and is clean and the people are very friendly and professional. Basically any governmental office in Rock Hill is pleasant to have an appointment at. The staff here is very knowledgeable in accommodating and professional. do you expect as all other government offices at times there will be long waits and other times you'll get lucky and get right in. Just go in and go with the flow and remember the person working with you is only doing their job. If you have a problem do not take it out on that person.

    When you call the national number and then call rock hill office you, you get a different answer and it's mostly a more treating outcome. I wish they would consider the situation you're in before demanding you come into the office at a specific time. I'm blind and can't drive. I just can't pick up and go when I want to. But if I'm not there when they say, they will cut my check out.

    Everytime i call them they put me on hold for 10-15 minutes then they just hang up, absolutely terrible customer service, I just called for the 3rd time and as i was explaining my reason for the call they just hanged up on me. What a joke
    Takes forever for them to finish paperwork for any help, even if you are approved. Unless it is something simple like a replacement card, be prepared to wait months. My husband had a massive stroke in November, still waiting tho he has been approved.
