I waited nearly an hour on hold just to be told they couldnu2019t send out copies of forms they needed me to turn in, that I would have to waste an entire day going up to one of their offices just to get some papers they could easily mail to me.

They are closed and you can not get an appointment, the website lies like most government waste. There are still people getting payed and our taxes are still high but no service here.

This location does not allow appointments during COVID, even though their phone line says otherwise. They required me to mail all my original court documents and driver's license in order to process a name change after divorce. I mailed these documents on November 10th and received my new card from Maryland on the 24th. A day or two later, I received a receipt from Baden stating my docs would be with the receipt; they were not.nnFor weeks, I tried to figure out where my license/court files were. Each week, I would sit on hold and finally get an employee, all of whom told me my documents were still there and simply delayed to be mailed back. The employees were all nice enough, but they were unable to help me. Every single one of them (only one gave a name - Andrew) told me my license/orders were there.nnFinally, two days before Christmas 2020, I was able to get a hold of the operations manager,Mr. Teal, who stated that my documents had actually been mailed back right before Thanksgiving. Not only do they not put tracking on your documents, but Mr. Teal asked me to waste my time by going to the Post Office, who won't hold a standard envelope and can't do anything without tracking. Mr. Teal promised me full compensation for the fees required to get replacements of my driver's license and court documents.nnI called Mr. Teal the same day I futilely checked with the Post Office (first week of January 2021), and I left a voicemail explaining that the Post Office doesn't have my files, that I am upset about being lied to and inconvenienced (I was in name change limbo and without a driver's license for 6 weeks, and we all know licenses are needed on a daily basis, from being pulled over to having a doctor's appointment). It is now January 28, and I still have not heard from him. I left a second voicemail this morning.nnI will be filing a complaint with the main Social Security Office. Maybe it won't do anything, but the local public does NOT deserve such lack of care. If Baden is not going to allow people to meet with them for a simple name change, they need to handle personal documentation with more respect and should not lie and take weeks upon weeks to respond to people.

Absolutely horrid, I have never seen such a combination of incompetence and uselessness. PAs new u201ctrue Idu201d act is a complete nightmare. As someone who went through a house fire, and lost everything necessary, the entire PA system, and especially the social security branch, has been dumbfounding levels of worthlessness.

I went there on November 29th and November 30th. The door was locked, and no one answered the call based on the phone number they provided.

Called to ask how to get new social security card because it wouldnu2019t work online and TONY from the Baden office was one of the rudest people Iu2019ve ever dealt with! As a consumer we have rights to ask questions. He hung up on me. Will be calling his superior.

I have Shannon B. as a case worker for my little brother and she is not professional at all. I have left over 20 voicemails since March and still she has not reached out to me regarding payment that is owed to my little brother. I also reached out to a supervisor over this, no response.

Bill at the Baden office was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After several frustrating visits to the Beaver County Public Welfare Dept. and Social Security Office regarding medical coverage for my son with Down Syndrome, Bill took care of everything in a few minutes. He knew exactly what was needed. His competence and courtesy was a breath of fresh air in dealing with government bureaucracies

This SSA Office was a pleasure to visit, the agent that helped us had a very pleasant attitude, and very knowledgeable on what was needed to help us about our issue. I will say the facility is much newer, and nicer than the Ambridge facility. The setup is customer friendly with set down booths, rather than standing at a window at Ambridge.

The Office was easily locate able. On a Tuesday after a Monday holiday, the office still had much lesser crowd than the SSA at Downtown Pittsburgh. My SSN application process was completed in less than 30 mins of being there. Very smooth transaction!

Can't tell you how bad they're. No one is answering and when they do, they are helpless. All I need is a piece of paper and it took me weeks without getting it.

I had an excellent experience working with Jeff in settling my widow's benefits. He was caring, very professional, and did a very complete job of settling things in a timely manner. Thank you Jeff!!

Poor service. Deducted child support from first payment after they had already received documents from child support 2 months prior to first payment issued. Then I was advised it could take 45 days or more to correct their mistake . Child support obligation ended 10 Yeats ago.

Extremely unprofessional too the point I wonder if anyone working here is even qualified. They are all heartless and ignorant. I have lost faith in the system due too these careless people handling things.

They are quick once your number is called but you wait atleast an hour for that. They also never tell you every thing that you need until after you wait all that time, so you end up having to come back.
