I give him 0 STARS!! The customer service man named Eric was very short and rude with me and didn't want to answer any questions unless I asked a couple times and didn't tell me anything I need to get my benefits back while applying and that I'll be getting a letter in the mail. Well that doesn't answer any questions I have.nI am beyond disappointed and very frustrated with the way he spoke to me! So rude, arrogant and ignorant as far as I'm concerned.nDon't ever try to talk to him or ask for help because he just ignores you or cuts you off in mid sentence!!nI don't know but he needs a serious attitude adjustment!

I called atleast 10 times before I finally got to speak to someone. The person I spoke with was very uninformative. I had to ask questions and wait for half answers. The person was not the friendliest or the most helpful.

I called and called til my call went through. The young girl was very polite and informative of what I need to bring and do to get my name changed to my married name.

Yes I need to change my name to my married name. I have called Altoona office twice and both times they hung up on me after waiting a long time for them to answer. I tied the 1-800 number and they hung up on me. You wait forever to talk to someone just for them to hang up on you. Poor service.

Worthless picking up the phone when you really need them for something really important especially when you need them to create an online account

Walked in and waited for about 30 minutes before my number was called. Ms. Ferguson was extremly friendly and helpful. Because she knew exactly what she was doing, my visit at the window was quick.

There sometimes is a wait, but most of the time, it is not all that long. They have been helpful every time I went up. Two things need to be remembered here. One is they have only so many people working there and most cases are complicated. Two, there many people coming in there that are just simply impatient and trying to milk the system, causing problems for those who actually EARNED Social Security.

The directions ended before I arrived to my destination, how do these guys get paid to do nothing!?! My taxes get wasted on them. An the attitudes leave a lot to be desired. Who is in charge of hiring these people and how do I contact this person to tell them that they're doing a very poor job.

Incompetent, limited knowledge of laws regarding birthright citizenship. Failure to conform to privacy laws, taxpayers are forced to explain their cases at a window while a huge audience of people are sitting behind them eavesdropping on every word. Many different answers to the same request presented to the national office who informed me 3 times what documentation was necessary to acquire social security numbers for my United States citizen children who are entitled to have social security numbers. It's an obvious case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

Had to wait 30 minutes via phone....but put it on speaker phone and did my dishes as I waited. Susan was wonderful, answered all my questions that I could not get answered on line. Very satisfied with the call.

They are a professional office and treat everyone with respect. I have found them only very helpful and have taken my daughter there. I have never waited to long and she always behaved well there.

Horrible woman just yelled and hung up my phone while I was politely stating my situation. She said I have called before which is ridiculous because I DID NOT.People are already going through hardship during COVID.Why can't we be patient and less selfish and more sympathetic for others uff1f

They don't have the phone number to this office listed correctly. We shouldn't have to call an 800 and deal with the run around when we've already been talking to people at the local office.
