My experience there was the worst, first off I have a medical condition. Does not allow me to wear a mask, instead of accommodating me under the Americans disability act.... They made me wait outside like a dog,I needed evidence for my appeal.... Which I need printed and was on a time frame for it.... Gave me a few papers I didn't need called them back and said you don't give the exact dates.... Started to go over it with t Carter, the employee.... He told me it was to much for just him,I will call you back at 9 the next day.... Never received it,now we are on day 5 of no help.... If they would of accommodated when I was their might I add the gas prices are unbearable..,. I would of had my evidence for,my case against the government that constantly robs us an never helps out. Shame on you t Carter and your manager,if I lose my case because of you.....I'm getting a attorney for discrimination......

It may have taken an hour and a half to get through but my issue was solved in minutes rather than months if I had sent in a written appeal which I learned from a helpful, home town agent. Be patient and keep calling. That's how they are set up to do service these days. Thank you North Bend SSA!

The only reason I didn't give a five star review is because of the security guard at the entrance.nWhen we first walked in to the office he stopped us at the entrance and asked if we had any firearms, knifes, or other weapons. I had a 2swiss army knife which I showed him and was immediately told to take it back to my car which wasn't a problem, but where the problem and unprofessionalism came from was when he told my wife he needed to inspect her purse. She promptly opened it up including the center change compartment, but this guy felt the need to stick his hands inside and rummage around for 45 seconds or longer. Now understand this was a purse, not a suitcase. My wife told me when he was done and we were sitting down that she felt like he was trying to feel around to see if he could find some loose bills or something valuable to palm and that his inspections was way over the top and she felt violated.nWe were at the Pro-Bowl in Feb. just after 9/11 and stood in line for the inspection to get into the stadium and the officers there spent 1/3 the time this guy spent going through her purse and the same goes for the TSA guys at airports, and any court house we've been to.nThis guy needs to take his job serious of course, but don't be a jerk and act like an Army private who's just be given an MP arm badge.nUse some common sense and I know you'll deny it, but also profiling. My wife is a 5' 2 125 lb, 62 year old woman, well spoken, college educated, and nicely dressed. Not exactly what I know they're trained to watch out for as a threat.
