It is important to notice that when an officer recommends that something may be dropped off at this location, you cannot do so unless it is during office hours. Very inconsiderate and inconvenient. Staff is not particularly friendly or helpful. Disappointing

The most friendly government office I've ever been to. I came in 15 minutes before the office closed with no appointment and they helped me out while making me feel welcome.

Number listed is wrong. I waited for 15-20 minutes and almost set up an appointment before being told this was the Podo office. So, not only has the SSA made it nigh impossible to get anything done by restricting hours, visits, and making you fill out info and schedule days in advance, now also they are not even listing the right numbers. What a joke.

On line, SS appeared that offices are open without reservations. Not so at MethAlester office. Door locked and guarded with no admit unless reservated. One guy outside advised that the office wanted him to mail driver permit (NOT a copy) to get a reservation. So much for this being service to citizens. Too bad can't give zero stars.

I don't know if the person who wrote the bad review for this place was having a bad hair day or what?.nMy experience at this office was nothing but pleasant, One of the staff came out and said they were sorry that I had to wait for an hour after my appointment time because of the load of people that they had that day.nI found that no one there treated me badly or was rude to me. The people were friendly, answered all my questions and was very helpful.nBut when you deal with people who work with people every day it will help you a lot if you don't go in there with a chip on your shoulder, treat people the way you want to be treated and that's what you will get.

they aren't helpful and very rude. their supervisors name is Vicky. she rushed me off the phone the entire we spoke. she wasnt interested in solving the issue i'm still currently having. Lisa was another representative that i spoke to and she was worst than her supervisor. i wouldn't recommend this place at all. the only reason i gave them a star was because i had to in order to post this review.
