How do you expect anyone to be able to get the documents they need if the social security office telephone number can never be reached and you can't speak to a live person? Don't bother driving up there bc they refuse to help in any way. Security just refers you back to the telephone number that is always busy. Its pretty shameful I have a military vet that's needs nursing home care and is unable to recieve it bc we can't get a social security card for him. Our goverment and the people in charge of the social security administration should be ashamed of themselves that they make it impossible to deal with them or get any service done of any type that you may need because of their incompetence.

I had a great experience over the phone today with Brad Pickrell. He returned my call and help me to understand how my disability works if I have a part time job. Now I get it !!!! Thanks to Brad for taking the time to explain how it all works in a way I could understand. Iu2019m a very happy customer. Stephanie House

Called before I sent in my name change request to ask what was needed. I was told the application and a certified divorce decree. I mailed that in and three weeks later got a rejection letter. When I called to find out why it was rejected, she said I was missing documents. When I asked which documents, she said she wasnu2019t sure and that what I sent should have been sufficient. She said she would talk to the guy doing the intake and explain to him it could be processed. I mailed everything back in. Today I got another rejection letter stating I needed to send my drivers license. I called and explained to the u201cgentlemanu201d on the phone that I had specifically asked if ID was needed and this woman told me no. He condescendingly said itu2019s common knowledge you need a drivers license or ID with this request.nIu2019m sure they donu2019t care but if youu2019re not sure what you need, donu2019t bother calling to ask because clearly the employees there donu2019t know what theyu2019re talking about.

The receptionist hung up on me 3 times. Folks I pray they really are listening for quality because that nasty thing wont have a job. I'm filing a formal complaint and encourage anyone she has hung up on to file one too.

We have been jerked around by this office, alot! They aren't given him ALL his back pay that was supposed to be $6000 more then they said that was their fault & hes supposed to get the rest in October; and then they said they OVERPAID him! And he has to pay that back or they will take $73 out of his check every month! So we went up there & the manager was supposed towaivethat, then they took it out anyway!!! We've had to drive from Nowata to Bartlesville so much & they still aint fixing the problens! GET IT TOGETHER GUYs!!!
