My name is Pam. I had a phenomenal experience at the Beachwood Social Security Office. From beginning to end, everything about my experience was exemplary.nnUnfortunately, I know none of the employees by name that supported me during my office visit. I was initially greeted by a policeman who was very polite and professional. The young lady that I was assigned to was intelligent, pleasant and u201cknew her stuffu201d! She explained everything to me in a very easy to understand, intelligent and patient manner. The patience was necessary because I clearly was not comfortable with the Social Security u201cprocessu201d. The young lady took her time with me, repeated and u201cbroke things downu201d for me to ensure my comprehension of the information she was sharing with me. She did not belittle me, nor lose patience with me, for my asking her to u2018repeat u201cthingsu201d and asking a u201ctonu201d of questions.nnI must return to the Social Security Office again. Of course..I will be returning to the Beachwood Office!!nnI LOVED MY EXPERIENCE AT THE BEACHWOOD OFFICE. THIS OFFICE GETS AN A+ and a u201cgold staru201d from me. BAM!!

I called this SSA branch to get answers concerning a letter I received. The person who handled my call was VERY unpleasant and was not explaining the situation to my satisfaction and she eventually HUNG UP ON ME! This was at the BEACHWOOD branch of the Social Security Administration.

Forget the name of the guy I talked to this AM but he was awesome. Super patient, didnu2019t give me an iota of attitude, didnu2019t talk over me, was super helpful and creative on how to get documents I need and actually listened to me. I have everything I need to get my issues resolved but I wouldnu2019t have known that without his help. Seriously, this was an amazing experience dealing with a government agency and that is not something thatu2019s said often by anyone, ever. So rare to see your tax dollars put to good use and I hope that guy gets a raise! Thank you to the dude at the Beachwood office who took my call for being freaking fantastic and sorry I forgot your name!!!

I spoke to a representative-Mr. Blessing. He was so professional, informative and very patient.nnHe explained everything to me in a clear and concise manner. He answered every question I had and told me all the options I had for my particular situation.nnI feel he should receive a promotion as he was an exceptional example of great customer service and caring for the customer.nnThank you so much for all your information and assistance.

They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Poor telecommunications skills. The rude tone in which they talk to you. They should retrain the entire staff or just dismiss them all.

Need a new social security card for a name change. You can't make an appointment because the SS office is still NOT open eveyone else is open and back to work. You have to mail in your driver's license to get a new card... absolutely ridiculous!!!

I arrive to the facility within an hour before closing, however, since I was only coming for a replacement, I was able to use the kiosk to the right of the entryway and request a number. Once my number was called, I was asked to go to a numbered window. The agent at the window was very nice and made sure my information was thoroughly checked for accuracy. It went quite smoothly for it being my first time at any facility of this nature. BUT...there is quite a lot of signage, which could be confusing to first timers. A little bit more direction with arrows would suffice, rather than a bunch of wordy signs.

Horrible service. First an automated voice makes you wait for a long time and then hangs up on you. Then after about 1.5 hours I got a person, who said please hold and hung up on me again !!!

This is the best SS place I been in since moving to Ohio. I arrived 10 minutes early but there was a line outside the door. I was the 10th person in line. As we were going in, we sign in on a computer on the right as walking in. There's a security card that helps people there. So after I signed in and sat down, i waited 2 hours and 30 minutes. I was 10th in line but had to wait that long. I dont know why I had to wait that long but I didnt mind. Whatever. So as Im waiting more and more people are coming in. And they did not have enough chairs for everyone. There was a lot of disabled people coming in who had to stand but there was some nice people who i got up and let them sit. As i was waiting , the tv with the the numbers on it are not correct. The security guard said dont look at the tv. It really confused people because theres no note on the tv. They should just turn it off or put up a note to warn people to disregard the numbers on the tv. There was a lot of old people who couldn't hear there number because they were hard of hearing. Overall, the place is clean. The people are nice. I suggest anyone to go super early and wait by the door because the wait is brutal.

We came in ten minutes to closing and we were treated very rudely. If you are coming in, .... come an hour early .... otherwise the people just don't care. Just because they work for the government does not mean they work for you --- it is an entirely different entity.nThere is a long wait, and if you come in the last hour, do not expect that you will get your work done. Be prepared to wait indefinitely .... that means, ,,,,, forever. Also they close at 12 noon on Wednesdays.... so beware.... !!!!nAlso be very, very cognizant on your rights BEFORE you come in .... do not expect them to volunteer ANY INFORMATION ... BECAUSE THEY WONT !!!!nYou are supposed to know and be an expert at, .... all your rules and regulations .... they volunteer nothing !! Better pay and hire a lawyer or an expert on Social Security ... and pay a lot of money .... atleast you will not be misled, and you will be aware of your rights and what you are entitles to.nCaveat Emptor .... let the buyer beware !

Waited for an hour and a half in the middle of business hours and they refused to serve me because they were short. Was offered to wait up to another two hours to be served. What kind of place is that?
