A kind Social Security Administration agent listed to my problem, understood my dilemma and suggested a helpful solution. Now I am just crossing my fingers that the next agent in another office who will work on the solution will be just as supportive and helpful as the on.e I talked to today. A previous phone call in another matter and with another Niagara agent resulted in a similar helpful and friendly interaction. My impression of the agents in that office is very positive and I want to send my thanks.

Was at the Niagara Falls Boulevard office this morning. Came from Toronto with no idea what to expect (up here passports alone require lining up from 4:30 in the morning). Walked right in when I arrived at 9:10. No wait. Mr. Bush was professional, kind (I was a mess after having gotten lost twice) and with perfect English (coming from Toronto, that's a bonus). I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Such a great experience. Lots of parking and can't say enough about how great this young man was.

I drove to this office from Toronto on the 25th of April and the customer service was phenomenal from the service representative Simon. We had to return on the same day as a document was forgotten, and the minute we walked in he flagged us over. He had to verify some documents for us and send them to Brandon Stupi (employee)in Baltimore, however, they were not received as of yet. I have been calling everyday and simply cannot reach anyone. The wait time is a bit much. It is time sensitive that I reach Simon. Hoping someone from their office sees this review and connects with Brandon. Please Help Someone!

I usually donu2019t leave reviews every but this needs to be said! I got some help from Mrs. Williams ans she was absolutely amazing to talk to! I made an inquiry for an international request and she was able to help me and reassure me! If youu2019re a manager reading this please give her a bonus she deserves it!!!

Donu2019t know who the phone representative is that manages appointments or whatever but she needs to be let go. This is a social security administration, not a joke. Youu2019re playing with the lives of others when deciding to just hang up in peoples faces just because you feel like it.

I have never in my life written a negative review like this but the absolute disrespect I received from this staff member in the first 2 minutes of this conversation was astounding. I called because I just got married and need to change my name on my SS card. He immediately accused me of trying tocut in linefrom people who live in Niagara Falls because I live too far away. I told him I had already tried to contact my local office numerous times but they didn't have a hold line or an answering machine. Then he snapped at me and saidwe'll you're just not patient enough thenand hung up on me. I'm truly appalled. I know everyone is short-staffed right now but this was just nasty, rude behavior. I can't believe our taxes go to this horrible person's salary.

The Niagara Falls NY Social Security office has to be the most friendly and efficient in the nation. We were applying for Part B Medicare and had to call a couple of times with questions. Calls were very courteous and helpful. We sent our applications in certified mail, and exactly 3 weeks later we received our new Medicare cards in the mail. Amazing! Hats off to all the workers there who process all the forms -- they make it look easy. My only suggestion is that they have some sort of drop box or mail slot to drop off letters and forms. Thank you, everyone, for your service!

Called and talk to a girl, would not give me her name. When I asked a question she said zipity-doda you were given the wrong information. The original information came from a guy that works at social security.

The new normal?! Can't go in or have a conversation with an agent anymore. It says on the door to call for an appointment. We get an agent on the phone, they say mail the documents to us, theres no appointments and you can't go in the building, then they hang up on you. Take the sign off the door. You're ridiculous!

A 5 min transaction of information for a last name change should not require a 105 minute wait!!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Had I known the staff wound be talking what we all assume was a lunch break when they stopped calling numbers for about 30 mins, I would've brought my lunch too! Being pregnant and already uncomfortable a 1 hr and 45 min waiting time is crazy, I don't care where or who you are!!

Brought my 87 year old mom in to take care an error with the direct deposit of her SS check. Clerk was rude, sarcastic and an absolute jerk. He asked my mom when her birthday was. She gave him the year she was born, instead of the date and he laughed right at her. He asked why we were doing business in Niagara Falls, when mom lives in Buffalo. An absolute JERK.

Iu2019ve been having problems with information and I went down there, the first lady I spoke to was nice, Iu2019ve called down for an update and they were rude by hanging up and yelling. I went back down there and the lady just said u201cI donu2019t know what to tell youu201d and grab some paperwork and walked away from her desk and chuckled. Very Rude and Disrespectful!!

Even though I was on hold for a long time, each time I called, the people who I dealt with were kind and professional. I appreciated the help with a difficult situation and hope it is resolved soon!
