Called the office today for a fairly routine issue. Got literally scolded, and yielded at. The agent did not listen, did not let me say a word, and then hang up the phone before I was able to write down information (form name and office fax number) that she mumbled to me. Iu2019ve never experienced a horrible service like this. Still shaking. To the point that I went through trouble of finding feedback page on the ssa.gov. And left feedback.

I am sorry to report that my first call to the Social Security office to try to get my medicare part b benefits was the start of a nightmare. The lady I spoke to never mailed me the forms; would not give me her name and hung up on me. That was March 2021. My age 79 years at that time.nNow in March 2022 I received a notice stating I will not get coverage untll July 1, 2022 at a cost of $255.10 a month. Disappointed. - ud83dude1eFlo K.

I did not want to give any star at all. This office is one of the worst customer service I ever experienced. I tried reaching to a representative on the phone to solve the benefits that have been held despite of it has been cleared to be direct deposit but they have not done so for 2 months. I will get a legal advice to help me on this.

I have never experienced such disrrespect and unprofessionalism in my life. This takes the cake. I called this place to schedule an appointment for my parents and got hung up on and yelled at 10/10 times. So, I go in person and i meet the security guard and ask him when are they open and he completely disregards me and speaks to me a nasty tone of voice. They seriously need to fire all these employees or train them better because this is ridiculous

I dread this place. Always wasting a day here. I try to call them which is also a huge waste of time, but yesterday I was put on hold and disconnected within two minutes. I thought it was a problem with my phone so I called five times. Out of those five times, same thing happened so basically I need to go in person now. And my issue can be resolved online by others but itu2019s not working for me.

Although it took 2 months for me to get an in person appointment, when I got to the office on the day of my appointment, the staff was courteous and I got taken care of pretty quickly. They are practicing social distancing so there weren't many people in the office when I went.

Never experienced such bad customer service before. The lady I talked to on the phone was so rude. I felt like she didnt really want to work or help at all, just absurdly hung up the phone when I asked a question. The staff needs to be fired! What a bad management of this office. Good luck getting anything done with them.

80% of the time that I call I get a very rude person on the phone that is mean or plain rushing to get off the phone. They have no manners and are unethical. This is how they treat our vets and our special needs. Itu2019s so sad. And in person visits are worse! Long waits even with appointments made in advance and they never give accurate information so you have to keep on coming back. Disgusting place!

Rude, rude, rude.nThe worker was extremely rude on the phone. I really wish she had told me her name so I can post it here. I asked if the office is open, and she immediately yelled and said the Corona virus is everywhere and just hung up on me. Unbelievable. I can't imagine how people are treated there in person. Just when you think the place that deals with retirees, disabilities, etc - their workers would be nicer, but no.nI feel bad for people that have to deal with these workers.

They say your not supposed to go by certain reviews on these things but I have to. Just recently I had an interview by phone which did not go to well. I say that because by the time I got to third person she was so rude about the whole thing it makes you look at SSA, in a different way and not in a good way. It still hasn't changed so much but we do have light at the end of the tunnel called Washington. Didn't get a chance to get her first name but Ms. Washington , is a professional in every sense of the way too bad they can't make copies of her in would benefit the SSA.

We came to this office, the machines to register for appointment did not work, security person wrote down the number and gave it to me. We were waiting for over two hours, nobody calls our number and they started numbers after us. We ask security for help, they refused to do anything. We asked for manager/ supervisor or anybody who can address the issue they recommended to check windows for any available person. What we find our our number was skipped in a system. We lost a lot of time and did not achieve anything. Terrible service. Nobody cares about customers.

I propose closing this office. I called to find out the pay cut. The employee did not introduce herself, did not want to listen to the arguments, answered rudely and at the end hung up.The conversation began at 11:50 a.m. and lasted 2min 22sec. Then I was rudely thrown out. You can listen to the record.

Came here twice, on a Tuesday and then later that week on Friday to apply for benefits. The first time I got there, the woman told me that I came too late in the day to be able to process anything, this was about 1PM. She said to come back later in the week but EARLY in the morning at 8AM, which is BEFORE the doors even open. I asked her if an appointment was necessary and she said it's not if you come early enough. I came back on Friday and arrived at 8AM to wait on the line outside. The doors open at 8:30AM. I was the first ten people inside, and got called to a window in 10-15 minutes. This woman told me that she could not help me because we needed to make an appointment, contradicting the first woman I spoke with. I asked to speak to the first woman to clarify and she refused to speak with me. The staff here are clueless, inefficient and are of no help. They don't seem to have their story straight and ended up wasting my time. I don't mind waiting, but they seem to be inconsistent, which in turn made me come back more and waste more time than I had to. Train your staff right and get your story straight before helping your clients. Really unprofessional.nnIf you don't have an appointment, be prepared to wait only to be turned away. Seems like it doesn't matter how early you get there. I counted when I arrived, and I was about the 8th person in line and I still didn't get a chance to be serviced. You have to line up before the doors even open to be one of the first few people online. Even then there's no guarantee you'll be serviced. You can make an appointment by phone - good luck actually getting patched through to a real person though, last time I tried calling the operator told me the estimated wait time is 2 hours.nnThis place needs to post a notice that they ONLY take appointments for people applying for new benefits instead of making everyone wait around only to have them explain to us that they can't help us. They're wasting both their own time and our time.

Horrible experience. We had an appointment at 9 am. We were there untill 1pm. Half windows are closed. One of Russian speaking security officer does Russian speaking people a favor. Iu2019m in shocked this is happening in America!!! One man is came in walking straight to him. The officer taking him to checking in machine, helping him out, then taking all his documents, walking straight inside the office . Not even 15 min pass like the guy was called in. When bunch of people are waiting .. When I confronted the officer. He told that I donu2019t know what Im taking about. I wish I would have more time on my hand and file a complain. This guy should be fired!

Look, I think people are expected to come in and be seen immediately. Most peopel think they are entitled and expect immediate gratification. You go to a government office, you should expect that there may be a wait. This office is very very busy. The people who call your ticket number have been at this the whole day. If they give you a big smile, they are awesome. If they donu2019t, that means the person before you was nasty and the worker was not treated nicely. If you are upset, ask to see a supervisor. They will help you. And donu2019t be racist Alex Truthman. How do you know the Chinese people didnu2019t work? Stop assuming. You probably didnu2019t ask to see a supervisor. If you did, then you would not be posting, because there is always a supervisor. I go here all the time to help translate for others and a supervisor is always available. They have some new ones now that are probably nicer. So donu2019t be mean when you didnu2019t have the patience to wait and ask a supervisor. Donu2019t be sarcastic when commenting and have an underlying jab at other races. The Chinese workers are awesome. Most of the Russian ones arenu2019t. Iu2019ll be honest. I see them just sitting there without helping someone, and they just pass the time that way, especially window 25. Once I saw her monitor and she was shopping with a person in front of her.
