I have called the number from the web site 4 times. After listening to all the programed messages I then had to push a number for what I needed but there isn't a number to talk to an agent. I was then told to hold on the line for the next available agent. I waited any where from 18 to 23 minutes each call I made. This doesn't include the amount of time I had to listen to the preprogrammed messages, then was disconnected!! Is this the best they can do since they don't want to have us come in the office? Really! With all the people out if work hire more agents!

No one ever answers and you get transferred to a main office that cannot help you get your benefits because you need to speak to the clovis office where they do not answer the phones or they hang up on you.

This office is a joke. They never answer their phones. When they do they hang up on you. Unhelpful too

I have been having to deal with the SSA office over the phone due to covid. They have been absolutely great at helping me get some paperwork that was extremely important. Everyone was so helpful. I never even had to wait more than a couple of minutes before being helped. Kudos to all of them.

Called before going, confirmed documents needed, asked about times they are open. Arrived only to find out they are closed at noon on Wednesdays.... that might have been worth mentioning on the phone! Begin open 9am-4pm, 4 days a week is extremely helpful to all those that actually work for a living. (Heavy Sacrasm)

We received a packet to be filled out and returned to the local office. My husband is blind, so I personally walked the packet in with all of the personal information in it. Check stubs, social security numbers, address, etc. The man on the phone told me to drop it in the drop box located in the lobby. I did as I was instructed. Now they are saying that they never received the packet. What in the world is going on over there? I am sure that they are bombarded each day with people and information. However, it its CRUCIAL that they ensure that all information received is logged and processed. It is absolutely unacceptable for a government office to misplace important and private information like that. It would be beneficial to them and to clients to have a time/date stamp provided along with some sort of receipt of any and all paperwork received.

Need to add negative star rating for this office. Incompetent and Inconvenient and staff is perfectly fine with that. Fire them all, and hire folks that will actually work to accommodate and expedite claims. The lackadaisical offhand attitude of the staff is maddening and unprofessional. And I'm being kind.

The people are grate they are always willing to help only problem when you call nobody answers after 30 mins then you have to start over. But when they do answer you get what you need plus there waiting music is entertaining.

You wait forever for them to answer and when they do they hang up! I've called 5 times and each time they've answered and hung up!
