They're closed because of Covid, which is annoying in and of itself, but whatever. The lady who finally answered the phone acted like I was bothering her and transferred me to someone else, which happened to be an answering machine, without even answering my question or saying she was transferring me. All I asked was how do I get my evidence for post-divorce name change to the office if I can't bring them in person, do I need copies or originals, how do I get acceptable copies, is there a drop box or through the mail... Basic stuff.

The worst social security office I have ever dealt with. I had to email 27 pages for a requestnOf waiver for overpayment from 18 years ago. I sent them everything but my first born with proof it was not my fault and waited 6 months with no word from them. I called the SS corporate office and they said they never received any paperwork from the Newton NJ office. I then called and spoke to some very rude and heartless woman who worked there. After about 30 minutes of her looking at my account she said u201c oh they made their decision and there is nothing else I can dou201d. Well I called back the SS corporate office and they told menOnce again, they never received anything on record of the 27 pages I sent to the Newton NJ office. I will never deal with them again. They are completely useless and liars. All they care about is that they get paid. Would never recommend them to anyone ud83dude21

Mrs Justin is the worst ever. She created a problem to begin with and has been inept in explaining her actions that caused a monetary mess and absolutely ignores request. Very unhappy. UPDATE: more than a year later social security reimbursed for her mistake when they finally figured out I was CORRECT! However damage was already done due to her incompetence.

I called in and was fortunate to get Mr. Mark Ortega. He was EXTREMELY helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He emailed me the forms I needed and also helped me find them on the SSA.gov website. It was a VERY pleasant experience!!! Great job, Mr. Ortega!!!!

Beyond heartless. Especially the women. After being in an abusive situation and honestly misunderstanding the earning cap, hours of time gathering useless proof of my situation, serious health issues, no empathy here! I was there four times. I had four different people. First gentleman was very helpful. When I came back with items asked for, the second person did not even look at anything I brought, and told me a totally different scenario. This went on with each visit. I was told different things by everyone. Didnu2019t work my whole life to be treated like this!

No words can describe our appreciation to the lady behind window #9, Ms. Tagano's great help on finally bringing our son home who has been in 3 hospitals out of state for 9 months since he was born!nIn the past several months, we had been calling and went to numerous different government agency offices, but what we got were just lists of phone numbers or addresses and more issues....nI am grateful we found a social worker from a Social security Office who is dedicated and loves her job and is willing to go the extra mile for people who need help....nShe not only fixed the messes created by another Social Security Office in Easton, PA but called other agencies on our behalf several times to follow through everything...nWhen she took down my phone number and looked at me and said, u201cI will get this resolved and I will call you.u201d I knew she would get it done.nnShe called me on a Friday evening around 6:00 PM , then another late afternoon call, then Yes, we have received multiple phone calls from other agencies, my son is coming home! Thank you!
