I've been unsuccessfully trying to reach the Brick office since NOVEMBER 2021. It's either a busy signal or I get through all the prompts only to get an automated voicemail at the end saying they are unavailable at this time. This office can't keep blaming COVID for being closed or unavailable to help. I'm simply trying to get my name changed and have already I've gone through all the appropriate avenues to do so. The only hold up seems to be the Brick office. At this rate, I will end up having my baby under my maiden name versus my married name which isn't fair.

My daughter's mother passed In July of 2021. 2 days later, I will leave there name out. Fraudulently claimed my daughters survivor benefits. It's April, I have reported the fraud to the office, toms river office(they will rectify it for me), nj states attorney as well. I'm trying to figure out how to tell my 10 yr old her mother died and they allowed this. The person that did it, should have gave us the money back. Never happened. Still haven't received any help. The money being stolen is to much unearned income for me to receive help from social services. Dianna, I believe the managers name is, did 0 due diligence. Even told me I should file for disability. Why? Committ more fraud? The guy that runs the desk is a piece of work himseld. Trying to intimidate me. Wrong guy. Anyway, I don't want to give them even one star.

I spoke with Sarah at this office. She was extremely kind and helpful. I am very grateful I was able to speak with her because I previously spoke with someone else at this office, who was very rude so I was nervous to call back. Sarah is without a doubt an asset to this office and is efficient, professional and kind.

Sarah is the most rudest person I ever talk to. she had an attitude problem when I called in for an issue yesterday. Her supervisors even nasty . They should not have a job in the federal government. Sarah needs to learn how to speak to people. supervisor needs learn how to speak to people too.

After a twenty minute wait on hold, a male Customer Service Rep answered my call. I realize that the Soc.Sec.office is understaffed and the Rep is not at fault for my wait time. BUT, he was very abrupt, impatient and totally unpleasant to speak to and just plain rude My question was a simple one and he was dismissive. Not what I would expect from a Social Security or any other government worker.

The heavy women with the tattoos at the front desk was VERY rude to me and other patrons. I had joked with her and did not realize that was not allowed. So much for working for decades and having my first official SS visit. She would not survive in the private sector. If you hate your job that much, spare us, retire. Applied online. I will follow up.

Very unprofessional and unethical staff. They literally just make things up as they go. They have little understanding of their own policy. u201cMr Sotou201d is extremely rude and u201cMr Modau201d is lacking in basic comprehension skills. The only respectful people at this place are the security guards.
