My wife had a scheduled appointment today at 11am and the building is closed and no one even there with obvious hours printed on the door and no info stating why they are closed, no update on a reschedule or otherwise. This is the worst experience we have had dealing withfetting an ssn for our child. We have been working on this for over a year with this office. If only I could complaine to a person and not a phone number that is automatic and hangs up with no @%#^ing answers

They are obviously closed, I understand that, I stayed on the line to leave a message, used option 5, and then a final road block, to leave a message I need to know the 5 digit extension. REally????? I'd like to start getting my benefits, can get NO help on line, so guess I'll just wait till this pandemic is over. I obviously am on the right road, the there's a road block. Hey, those of you in the office, fix this problem, please.

We moved back to Scottsbluff from Denver. In Denver it usually took at least a week to get an appointment but in Scottsbluff I have never had problems just walking in. All the agents here are very responsive and friendly. Just now I called in and got an agent in less than 5 minutes who quickly responded and took care of my issue. Thanks.

This place is a waste of the taxpayers money. There was 2 people including the security guard and the receptionist. The receptionist informed me that there was nobody else that could help me. Then she said it would be a month before there would be anyone that could help me. The SSA is a big brick building that needs to be closed down. Her only remedy was to do my business online. Both her and the security guard were rude and insulting.

I have been there several times and was treated courteouslynI did not have to wait long at all to talk with someone and they were VERY helpful and knowledgeable; if you think Scottsbluff is bad, you need to go back East where they actually are rude and could care less if they handle your case accurately or appropriately.nnYou have no idea how good this office really is in comparison.
