Got right in, they were friendly and quick with service. 10/10 would get free money again

Don't trust these people! They made us send in an original birth certificate to get a replacement card for my son. They mailed back a photocopy of his birth certificate instead of the original. I only had the original. When we contacted them, several people, including a higher up, told us that they don't make those kind of mistakes and that we are the ones that are wrong. No apology, no we will look into it, no fault of theirs at all- just blamed us. These people are not good people and I'm suspicious of why they stole my son's bc. Now we have to monitor his credit for identity theft. Beware of these people in St Peters. Something is not right

They are only doing things over the phone or by appointments but no one ever answers the phone! Been trying for 3 days, calling multiple times a day and at different times each day. Nothing. And there isnu2019t even a voicemail for me to leave a message for a call back. Just nothing. So thank you for nothing.

I went to updated my information yesterday. Everyone was so nice and fast. It took me only 10 minutes to get everything done. (I was concerned at first because of the reviews.)

Horrible service. The only person who was any help what so ever was the security guard...

Absolutely exhausting experience. I gave birth to my son on 12/7/2020 - and I have yet to receive his SSN or card (As of 3/7/21). I have spoken to multiple different people at this location and each one gives m a completely different answer than the last. Iu2019ve been told that I have to file for a replacement card (which is weird since I havenu2019t even received the original) and that in order to get it Iu2019d have to send them my actual drivers license in the mail or otherwise they wonu2019t process it. I have to apparently send it because there is nobody in the office because of covid (despite the automated voice on the phone saying that they are taking appointments.) When I stated that I absolutely do not feel comfortable sending my only form of ID in the mail, I was given a bunch of attitude. Three different people have told me that theyu2019re sending me a letter in the mail with his SSN on it, and I still have yet to receive anything. The last man I spoke to rudely asked, u201cWell why do you even need his social? Itu2019s not a big deal right now.u201d Uhhh... excuse me? Firstly, I need to file my taxes. But second, heu2019s my child and I absolutely should have his social! Iu2019m going to continue calling until somebody can actually help me but I pray for anybody who has to deal with the employees at this location.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with the workers in this office. The security guard is very sweet but as for the rest... they are all ignorant people who act like they hate their jobs. I was treated so disrespectfully. If you have panic attacks or don't do very well when being treated like your a nobody...I would recommend doing everything you possibly can by phone. If you do happen to have to go in there I'd say a prayer before entering the building, take your xanax, and strap in cause it's gonna be a really rough ride.

there is no reason this office shouldn't have employees available to see taxpayers even if it's 1 taxpayer at a time..they request you to mail your licens..what if I get pulled over? What if I'm trying to get a new job and need to provide my ss card ud83eudd14 there's no reason that this location isn't open other than laziness

Tried to drop off a form for my mother in law, as she's high risk for COVID, and there was no one at the building to help me. I called the number that was on the door for assistance and spent an hour on hold only to be hung up on by the automated assistant.

The nicest person at this office is the Security Guard who kindly welcomes you and checks you in. Nice ends there. The worker who assisted me was extremely rude, at one point moving his head as close to the partition as possible and yelling at me for trying to collect what is legally mine. He made several snide comments regarding my personal life. I hope I never have to go to that office again.

THIS IS WORST ,RUDEST RUN GROUP OF SO CALLED EMPLOYEES. IF ANY REAL BUSINESS TREATED PEOPLE THE WAY THE SSA DOES THEY WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS IN A DAY. I'VE BEEN CALLING AND TRYING TO GET THIER PROBLEMS STRAIGHTEN OUT SINCE NOVEMBER 0F 2020. I'M BEING FORCED INTO RETIREMENT BY UAW LOCAL 2250 BECAUSE THE UNION SAID EMPLOYEES DIDN'T HAVE TO FOLLOW GMS. THEY FORCED ME OUT OF A STRESS GROUP REFUSED TO LET ME BACK TO WORK AND REFUSED ME RETIREMENT PAY AND INSURANCE SINCE JULY OF 2020. SSA HAS REFUSED ME MY RETIREMENT BECAUSE THEY WON'T OPEN THIER DOORS AND DO THIER JOBS. SO I HAVE TO BEG AND SIT AND WSIT FOR PHONE CALLS THEY WON'T RETURN. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE.

Local reps are generally top notch.nn55 minute hold times are unacceptable. It's utterly impossible to get through to anyone to even reschedule an appointment because medical issues arose. Isn't your target audience disabled and elderly?nnMy medical condition is consideredinvisiblethough well-documented as life-threatening complications. A rep was initially biased because she could not SEE my physical condition despite my leg was swollen several inches larger (visible as I wore shorts because my leg feels its on fire most of the time.) Once I showed her my leg and explained in more detail she finally got it - after I was frustrated and stressed which immediately worsens my physical condition. A rude security guard on previous visits only adds to my apprehension to visiting the office again. Combined with changing rules - instructed by Mr Rude Security Guard must make appointments online, try to make an appointment online and instructed to visit the office to make an appointment. Frustrating. Something needs to be done to improve accessibility to getting the services needed.

Worse office Iu2019ve been and they wonu2019t even allow me to make an appt with them and come in because Iu2019m not understanding everything and need help filling out and filing the paperwork ud83dude21ud83dude21

Was there for an hour. I knew I had to wait because the place was free but got feed up and left after an hour of being ignored. They have a crappy number and letter system. The called two different Letter/ number combinations during the time I was there and did not once call one Letter/Number that started with my Letter. After an hour of waiting and watching people who got there 45 minutes after me getting called first was the last straw. Thank God Social Services isn't first responders or you would be dead and buried before they would ever arrive to help you.

Went in at 9am for a name change on my SSA card. Card changes have a different line than the lines for benefits, so I was seen 2nd. Out the door in 30 minutes. I had my SS-5 filled out but it was not needed.

I was there forever. And when my number finally got called I got the rudest lady ever. She kept making rude comments about everything I was telling her. Iu2019m never going here again. The only nicest person there is the security guard.

I had a different experience than the reviewer who said there was no wait. I arrived as the office was opening and there were 7 ahead of me for my window. After 90 minutes I still had 4 ahead of me so I gave up and left. You'll need to allow hours for this.
    Jessica Stoops
Called for help today and when the lady got tired of me not understanding the system she was trying to explain told me to have a nice day and hung up on me

Sat for a long time waiting for service. Every person I spoke to in person gave me a different answer. Some reprep's., we're very nice others weren't. Very, very frustrating experiences.

The wait was very reasonable and the people could not have been nicer or more helpful! I was pleasantly surprised.

The security officer and the woman who took care of me were both respectful and friendly.

There are a lot of resources here. I would recommend anyone without a job check it out. I didn't find a job through this, but I found a lot of resources.
