They always have an answer for my questions! It may take awhile to get through on the phone, the wait time can seem long. They are always courteous and helpful! Thank you Columbia SSA office!

I was on hold 20 minutes and then they disconnected me and the auto attendant said no one was available. Auto attendant said 15 minutes for a busy day. Very aggravating that you can't get a person to talk to on the phone and they won't see you in person at the office.

On the phone for over an hour, blame it on COVID, poor excuse. I have three phones and two different local offices at the same time, nothing. Too bad administration does not monitor reviews. Still nothing, is there anything less than a one star rating?

My parents called to set up some new info and the lady on the call was being very rude, wasnu2019t helping us, and overall just being disrespectful. Like I understand you donu2019t like your job, but that doesnu2019t mean you need to be rude and unhelpful with a disabled man who has trouble understanding. We donu2019t have a computer to set it up and we told her, so we asked if she can help us but she kept telling us to use a computer to do it and how she canu2019t help us, we canu2019t go to the office because it is closed due to Covid-19. She is forcefully screaming and yelling at my parents when they have been nothing but nice and respectful. please Hire new representatives that donu2019t harass people.

Extremely helpful! I needed a replacement social security card, and was helped within 10 minutes during a lunch hour. The facility runs very smoothly, and the employees were very friendly and happy to assist me, an idea completely different from your stereotypical government-run business.

The wait was long, but they were helpful when you had the chance to talk to someone

Not only did they skip my number after waiting for about 45 mins they made me get a new one and wait an additional hour. I wish it was more like the DMV and divided based on need. I just needed a replacement card and the online services do not have access to Missouri accounts. I had to sit and listen to people argue with the lady at the window for insane amounts of time about their benefits. Benefit inquiries should be separated from the other service being they usually are more in-depth and take longer. I sat all damn day just for something that took less than five minutes. SMH not happy

The 2 security people get carried away with searches here. The first man does an administrative search and although I only came in with only my car keys and ID, he required me to take my glasses off (not sunglasses) and put them in thisbox-- which is absurd. I need them to see with it. In addition, he spent a ridiculous amount of time talking to people and the next security person spent a ridiculous amount of time passing a wand over people, making the man in front of me -- a clean cut man -- turn around 3 times so he could slowly pass the wand over his entire body. It's ridiculous. Even in much larger cities with much more crime, they don't spend this much time or go over board, as they do here. I'm sure security at the airports or prisons don't spend this much time on searches as they do at this little social security office, in a small city as Columbia is. When I said they don't get this carried away in even the larger cities' social security office (where crime in the city is higher), the security man at the front desk told me I'm free to go to St. Louis' social security office if I want to. I think this is ridiculous. It's almost like they have nothing to do and want to extend their duties out farther and longer, just to keep busy -- while they're detaining people way too long. While I had no contraband or weapon on me, I just left and didn't even stay -- for the ridiculously long searches

My wife and I met with Keneya first thing this morning. We had questions regarding my Medicare coverage and my wife's upcoming job employment retirement. Leave not doubt, Keneya was well trained, extremely intelligent and understands the Social Security and Medicare processes. She was amazing. Much thanks to her!

Very nice planning to attend the customers. I got a entry slip through computer. It waited almost 45 minutes. I advice that take all the documents, otherwise it would be wastage of time.
