I drove 45 min after reading the reviews and having the u201cstdu201d service from the Memphis offices. When I got there at 3:40, the office was very clean, the guard was kind and willing to help. The person who attended me completed my business quickly, despite it was very close to the end of the day she took her time and I was out at 4:20. One of the best experiences I have ever had with government offices. Congratulations for this huge improvement.

I went there yesterday and received THE most excellent service. I am hard of hearing so it is difficult for me at times. The guard made sure l got all the help l needed. My questions and needs were all met with quick and acurate information. I left with a smile within just 30 minutes. I pass on the Memphis locations and will continue the drive to Olive Branch for my Social Security needs.

They advertise that they make appointments to take care of your needs if they cannot be taken care of by phone or online, yet they tell me I cannot make an appointment to get a replacement ssn card even though I cannot do it by phone or online due to some technical prob with my ssn. Bunch of lazy people if you ask me

I got there about 45 min before they opened . They let us in at 8:30am , got my number and they started seeing people at 9am sharp . Very nice and professional. I had 2 issues to take care of , i had to speak with 2 different people both were very nice . I was back in the car at 10:15am .

Erica was wonderful! I had to go apply for my children's survivor benifits. She was compassionate, kind and made me feel better doing one of the worst things that a spouse has to do. I went on a Friday and most people on Friday's are ready to end the work week and can be rude, short and in a rush to get off. She made it so much easier then it could have been. Kindness is so important! You never kniw what someone is going through.

I called the Olive Branch office after having terrible experiences with the Memphis area offices. Mr Archie answered and was very professional and courteous and answered all of my questions. Will definitely contact this branch in the future when having to deal with SS.

I wish i had gotten the young lady's name that helped us to pass on kudos to her. She was extremely helpful and so pleasant the entire time as we asked for muliple pieces of info amd assistance. Wish all the SS employees had her attitude. A refreshing experience.

This office was extremely speedy and very friendly! I went in for a name change around 2:45pm on a Tuesday and was in and out in about 15 minutes. I am sure the wait time varies by day.
    Francisco Rubio
Terrible place I have a whole week trying to communicate and when someone answers they hang up they do not let me say what I need, they should fire these people who do not want to work and hire someone who really wants to do it.
    Kristina Lovelace
They work fast but they dont tell anyone they open at 830 for people to line up but dont start calling numbers until 9. All i needed was to change my name back to my maiden name but despite giving her my drivers license current social security card and divorce decree she wouldnt issue me a card because my dl was a few days expired . so now i have to renew my drivers license costing 35 dollars to go back to social security to change my name on my card costing 15 dollars i believe to come back to the dmv to change my drivers license costing me another 35 dollars plus costing me a whole lost day of work because none of these people are in a hurry to do anything. So all together jist to get my last name back its costing me well over 200 dollars . the social security and dmv both need better methods of i.d. options and better service.
