All I needed to do was notify the SSA of my recent change of address. I multiple times tried calling the national number, the number of the office in my new city and completing the form online. All miserable failures and much of a morning wasted. Sensing my frustration my insurance agent in NE MN suggested I try the Hibbing office. Yes, it took a couple of calls but when a person answered she could not have been more pleasant, efficient and helpful and in less than two minutes my change of address was recorded. Exceptional service/response from that worker.

They work extremely hard and are very kind and helpful during this difficult time. It's not easy to handle so much work and extra calls etc. Personally, to me they have always been a fantastic help and do what they can when they can and have been patient with me too.

I tried to call them to see what forms we needed to get my son a new social security card, but was on hold for about two hours. These guys are absolutely useless.

The phone system is bad. There is no way to even leave a message unless you know the extension or a person's name. I need help and cannot even leave a message. I would give no stars but the system will not let me so I have to give 1 star.

Every time Iu2019ve called the great folks at the Hibbing office, Iu2019ve had nothing but great service. Sure the wait time to be helped is inevitable, but itu2019s worth it. Iu2019ve always had my questions answered and at times had problems solved over the phone. Theyu2019ve been especially helpful since my husband passed away. Kudos!

Horrible Service. Call to make an appointment in Sept and could not make one because it was too far out from my husband's 65th birthday. Told to call back in November and guess what no appointment available until the last days in November. Too late to receive his Medicare number in time to to sign up for Supplement Ins. Went in today and no one will even see you.nRude on phone and not helpful in person. The only window to get help was in the lobby for everyone to hear and a thick glass between us the representative so, of course, my husband is hard of hearing and heard nothing she had to say. No attempt to correct the hearing by moving us to a better location.nLooks like they are sitting just to collect their pay. Not even worthy of one starnSusan Stone

The only thing that would have made my time there better would be if they didnu2019t change to a check in computer. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
