No one understands the whole process of a disability claim. Medical review is handled by bureaucrats that work for the state of Michigan, audit review is outsourced to an outside company and at the federal level no one understands what the others are doing! I have been waiting 10 months for a decision on my claim. It is very frustrating that no one cares about the horrible customer experience! I even contacted my US representative to file a complaint and that didnu2019t help either! We pay into this system our entire working life and the government does their best to deny you benefits!

Went to the office, dude came out yelling at me, something about how they havenu2019t had people inside In two years and that I have to fill everything out online. Except I canu2019t do what I needed online. Guy basically told me to kick rocks.

This office sucks! I have dropped documents off twice and they constantly tell me they havenu2019t received my documents. My anxiety is at an all time high because i donu2019t know where they put my documents because i dropped them off.

The amount of times it takes to get a hold of someone (not gonna share the name even though I should) and still not get in touch. It's been almost a week and they won't answer or call back. Left my phone number, name, ect. and I'm on a time limit for how long I can wait which ism't much time left. I waited till 9am when they opened so they wouldn't be in touch with anyone yet and still no answer. Sitting through that annoying call pressing the numbers and having to wait tonpress it even though you know the numbers to press cause you've called them plenty of times this processs is just annyoing!!!

This office is a Huntington Bank...drive out here to see if they had a drop box, itu2019s not even a ss office... Canu2019t always depend on google for accurate info. Smh

Horrible customer service. Rude employees. Terrifyingly disgusting. Doors are locked even though it says theyu2019re open.
    Randy Adams
Staff was courteous but weu2019re unfamiliar with the system altogether. My issue was the ticket to work program, which allows people who are on disability to seek employment and if employable, to continue with a paying job, with the hopes of coming off disability. They were not familiar with other programs as well.

Was on hold for a half hour. When someone finally answered my call, I asked my question and they HUNG UP ON ME. My husband called and the same thing happened to him. This was after I spent an hour on hold with the main SSA number from the SSA website to be told I had to call Sterling Heights as they are the local office. When we Finally got through to someone at Sterling Heights they told us we have to call the Pontiac office.
