Office wont let anyone in and they hang up on you when you call. To get a replacement card you need to provide an original birth certificate and they wont accept a copy of your drivers license. So now you drive up there and drop it in the box. You're driving illegally on the way home. They're just gonna make a copy of it anyway. Makes no sense at all

Relentless attempts to resolve small issues has resulted in 2 months of run around by this office. Went to the Troy Office explained issues they saw me and resolved all issues. then Roseville office sends me a letter of reduction in funds help. Then they say I owe 13.000 in over payment witch is a re mortgage to repair and remodel my bathroom. Why would they not have me come to the office and set these matters straight?nWhy would they say they will send waiver forms in mail but never did ??nIts beginning to show that a worker in this office has deep seated issues and has taken all my matters personally.nShould I see my original attorney from the date my case was opened ?

Being new to the SS group, I just had my first phone contact with the Roseville office. I was very pleasantly surprised. Ms. Terri greeted me with courtesy and professionalism not always associated with government services on any level. She answered of my questions and set my mind at ease over contacting them again. Thank you Ms. Terri

I could literally CRY with how happy Sarah (been there for 19 years) made me. Literally tried my luck at the Ann Arbor location. There were unbelievably rude.nSarah was so sweet, emailed me my forms, apologized on another SSO behalf, and gave me correct information. Literally tearing up. Kindness, professionalism, and helping me understand the new pandemic process made me give this facility and Sarah a 5 star. Thank you so very much!

Before the pandemic I would have rated higher but now no way! I have a payment related issue, and they don't care! No appointment necessary they keep saying even though we have gone over the problem 4 times now(several hours on the phone with the 800 number and this office) and it is still not fixed. I call back say I need a face to face and they say lets go over again, they say its all fixed then i get a letter a few days later saying other things grrrr so frustrated! Im at my wits end I don't know what to do, or how to explain it to them more simply I have even faxed them proofs, that cost me money. Please figure this out!

I applied for my sons SSN in December, when I still hadnt received it in the mail in February, I called the office. I called on a Monday, they said the application was complete in the system, but it was never sent out for processing and he hadnt been assigned a number. I was told i needed to go BACK in and reapply. I took more time off work to fix their mistake on Tuesday a day later. I waited in line for them to tell me that it hadjust been processedthe day before (coincidentally the day i called them).nnAll is right now, but it was very inconvenient for what seemed like their mistake. And very annoying to have to take extra time off work AGAIN

Someone needs to fire one of the black ladies that work here. I don't know how many work there but the one who answered the phone was extremely rude. Attitude for no reason! If you can't leave your personal problems at home, stay there! Called to get answers about my son's benefits because every time I move, they lower his amount and I have to go through hell trying to get the full amount back. All she had to do was look up his case but nope she wanted to argue with me. It's sad how these experiences go primarily with them. When I called a month ago to get this handled, the white lady who answered was very polite and handled my issue in minutes, just asked for my son's SSN and took care of it. I'll try again tomorrow and hope someone with class answers the phone.

I have had to call several times over the last few months. Very kind, knowledgeable, and quick service. These Federal Employees are really helpful during this pandemic.

I was there today (5/17/18) at 10AM, the woman working window 1 was on a complete power trip. First, she was screaming to the room at large that they u201cbetter have their documents readyu201d when they get to her window. I just got married, I was there for a name change - had my driveru2019s license and marriage certificate ready - simple enough, right? Wrong! She refused to accept my valid MI driveru2019s license because I had just been to Secretary of State (name change) and they had staples my temporary license to my photo license. She told me I could wait but would just end up back with her and be told the same thing, she seemed to enjoy her power in that moment. I went directly to the Sterling Heights SSA and guess what? The exact same pieces of identification were perfectly valid and they processed my name change! This woman needs training and a serious attitude adjustment.

The guard opened a little early to let us in from the weather. The first lady announced clearly and cordially what to have ready and what to expect. The two ladies that I met at the windows were friendly and thorough to take care of my business in less than a half an hour. It was outstanding.

I have spoken with them over phone today and they were really nice and solving my issue. Hope they will continue serving the clients like this...

All the workers were very nice but none of them could help me! Trying to get a Medicare card and financial help for the Medicare deductions from my checks but for some strange reason Medicare can not find anything on me. But they have been taking money from my check for nine months!! Medicare says they get all their info from social security so it's some mistake made at this office but no one will (or can) figure it out! I've been going through this almost a year and nothing changes! I just want someone to work on my case until it's fixed....to much to ask???

Went in for a new ss card it was extremely fast the check in lady was very nice as was the lady who helped me and my husband get our cards. The security guard was very funny also. Honestly it was the fastest and most pleasant trip to any social security office I've ever had.

Went in to get my daughter's social security card with all the proofs the lady before told me I needed. Today the lady at window 3 with short blonde hair was extremely rude and no help what so ever. Horrible attitude. Walked out of there for the 2nd time frustrated and lost. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I dont write reviews but thats how mad I am. Youre supposed to be helpful not give attitude because I ask questions. That's your job! Don't work with people if that's how you are!!!

My wife and I went into the crowded office, and we were immediately called by the worker. The gentleman was very polite and explained everything thoroughly. It was a pleasure to find someone that seem to sincerely enjoy helping their customers.
