Was supposed to call them March 2, 2022 at 9 AM. I did, but no one answered. I left a message. No call back. Instead I got a letter saying I missed my appointment and they would call me March 28, 2022 between 9-2. If that day or time doesn't work, call and change the date. I worked that day, so I called. Again I had to leave a message. No call back, again! March 28 came. No one called me all day. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

At 9:10 Iu2019m not going to argue. If you see me standing and the doors are locked for you to assist donu2019t just stare and laugh. Second donu2019t come to the door and start getting rowdy because I asked a simple question. Unprofessional these other u201cclaimsu201d about him must be old and a different person.

I understand the preference for appointment only but, at least 1 day a week should be for walk-ins. I understand the concern for the health of the elderly but, other citizens pay taxes as well. All citizen should have acceptable access to services.

Worst office ever. I called to set up an appointment for a non English speaking employee here on a work visa, and keep getting referred to management, except management never reached out to me. This staff is so lazy and unfriendly. They refuse to help me any further than u201cemailing management because that is the procedureu201d. Twice I got told I had to wait for a call from management. This is not the first time I've helped an employee get a social security number. Never had this kind of trouble at the Ann Arbor office.

The case workers at this branch are actually really helpful and nice. Some people say the security guard is rude, but you have to consider the people he has to deal with all the time. The last time we were here, there were people talking on their phones, another lady was hanging out outside of the building instead of listening inside for her number, another group was talking so much that they didn't hear their number being called. The guard had to put all these people in their places. At the end of the day, compared to other government operated agencies, this one really isn't that bad.

We went into this office twice and the staff starting with the guard through to the workers in the back were all wonderfully helpful and pleasant. Nothing negative no rude behavior no bad vibes! We have been going into this office for years and have never had a bad experience.

The security guard working 10/19/17 around 10am Is very rude and unpleasant. He doesn't know how to approach people when it comes to enforcing rules. By the looks of other reviews, I can tell I'm not the only person affected by his terrible attitude.

They are horrible, i went there twice within the last 4 months and the sevice they did was great, but i never got my information. Ive been waiting to get my social security card since. I finally figured out that one of the ladys just put the address in the computer wrong. I went back the sencond time and here i am still waiting. I called today since i went their april 5th (they also told me it would take 2-3 weeks or 45 days) and the man on the phone wouldnt listen to me when i told him the address was a 'Dr not a street' it makes a big difference but the lady told me when i went up there it didnt matter and she wrote street and i still havent go it yet. I was told to go up there again to redo the process and wait longer to get a job because i cant without a ssc! Thanks.n- you suck!

Security guard is horrible. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Would give zero stars if I could. He talks to you as if your a child, and I didnu2019t appreciate that at all.
    C Cook
Absolutely rude! These people are unprofessional and just mean. The security guy was awful and when I was signing in he just walked up to the computer and took over, like I didn't know what I was doing when I did!! I will never come to this place again.

Why do you always close early and never answer phone calls?
    Tony George
Didn't even let me submit an application for name change. Rude and ignorant behaviour from the officer at the preliminary window. All I did was go to another office location and they processed it for me. Still leaves me wondering why didn't the officer let me submit the form.
    Joyce Williams
