This Holland Office is Fantastic. After spending an hour on Hold and then 1/2 hour discussing my case on the US SS Hotline and getting completely confused on what I needed to do I decided to call this Holland Office and after 10 minutes my case was reviewed and re instated just like that. The young man was FANTASTIC and courteous and efficient . In the past my husband had the same outcome with this Holland office as well, he met in person with a young lady and was handled efficiently with courtesy and understanding and question answered. Advise is to call this Office with any concerns .

The security guard here today was very nice I actually accidentally went to the wrong building I was supposed to go to the Secretary of State and he was not only able to come outside when I was grabbing the information I need out my bag before I walked in and asked me if I needed any help/ assistance xD. After I realized I was at the wrong building I came inside to see if they had a water fountain and they did! Thank God lol. My sincerity to the social security administration and deep gratitude of the politeness and professional behavior of the security guard there. ud83dude05

I unknowingly called the National phone number. After 40 minutes of holding, and the representative repeating the same talking points over and over and over, I felt more confused, and less resolved. I ended up calling the Holland branch number. The hold time was only about ten minutes and the young lady I spoke with was INCREDIBLY helpful. She answered my questions, explained things that didn't make sense, and communicated with the payment center while I was on the phone in order to actually resolve my issue. I hung up feeling like my issue was for real being handled, and that I actually mattered to her. Would have given 5 stars except that they don't have any walk in appointments, and the sign stating the rule was so teensy tiny that it was hardly visible, and 5 of us stood there until I noticed the sign ;)

Just spoke to Noah and he was very helpful and he went above and beyond to answer my questions. Gave me some helpful tips and was very friendly. Couldn't have asked for better customer service.

I sat on hold for a half hour without even speaking to anyone.

Made two trips to take care of a couple details. First trip took less than two hours as the place was packed. 2nd trip less than 20 minutes. Didn't have an appointment either time. Everyone was courteous, respectful, professional.

Bryan P, was amazing kind, friendly and fast, super professional and could joke around. I found my visit very pleasant and I would for him again and again! was basically in and out, took me 20 minutes.

Calling for information was a pleasant experience. I didn't wait but a few minutes, and the agent politely answered all my questions. I dreaded calling with expecting to be put on hold for a long time like the IRS does.

I've been in here one time to drop off some paper work and was treated rather rudely.nEven though I didn't have to wait, I was asked why I was dropping paperwork off instead of mailing it in. He acted like I was being an inconvenience by making him do something.nWill definitely not go back here unless I absolutely have to.

I had made an appointment (would highly recommend) and my wait time was less than 5 minutes. The SSA administrator was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail with recommendations. Excellent experience.

Went in to ask questions and it was a complete waste of time. The male representative appeared uninterested, gave short incomplete answers, seems irritated by my follow up questions. About what I expected from a government bureaucracy employee. So sad...

Mr. Duke and Jennifer were so helpful to me. People need to be patient and understanding when coming into offices like this because they are here to help within the lines they are allowed to, and so long as you do so they will help you out beyond belief.

Great customer service, no line, was in and out to change my name in under ten minutes! Must be just a couple of bad employees here because I was bracing myself for a bad experience after reading other reviews.

I came in to sign up for medicare,my 3 month window, and sign up for SS benefits, the young man was very aloof, and rude, he acted like I was inconveniencing him, didn't answer my question & snapped at me when I ask a question....not going back there!!!! I still don't know if I am signed up or not....
