I don't think anyone is particularly thrilled to be in whatever situation that brings them to need the services of this office. That said... give these people a break! It's not their fault you're going through whatever you're going through. Don't take your frustration out on them. Especially during a pandemic.nMrs.Hwas phenomenal. She was patient and kind and she seemed to actually CARE. THANK YOU !

I think they need to hire educated workers to become professionals in the future. Itu2019s sad to have a conversation with a person who represents a government agency Where they donu2019t know anything about people, right and taking advantage of their disabilityufffc.

Karen, a nice and friendly, absolutely gorgeous lady, thank you for receiving me so well.

I sent in my daughteru2019s original documents in order to receive her first social security card. They received the documents and mailed them back with a paper saying they made copies of what they needed. I received a second letter a couple weeks later saying my daughter was denied because u201cI didnu2019t provide the correct documents.u201d I called because I most certainly did send all the documents. During the phone call, I found out no one made any copies and they had no record of my daughteru2019s application. Their solution? Mail everything back and reapply. I had to pay twice to mail documents there because there is no drop off box. It took over 2 months to receive her social security card. Iu2019m usually very patient and understanding, but it was ridiculous. Absolutely the worst government experience Iu2019ve dealt with.

The Dropbox at this location is only open from 9am-3pm, which I work during so I called the office to make an appointment. The lady I talked to was extremely rude and told me it wasn't my right to change my name so I am not allowed to make an appointment. When I asked if there was any way she can help me she laughed and said sure I'll pass it on to my supervisor then proceeded to hangup on me. When I called back she again hung up on me and would not help me. Called the office in Roseville and they made an appointment for me so it seems this one worker was being lazy and unwilling to do her job to help customers.

I want to give a minus 5 star! The worst public service office ever in this world. There is a woman call Karen or Khan, who for no reason is qualified to work there and answer the phone calls. She doesnu2019t know how to do her job and she is rude all the time.I have called her and tried to get a social security number but she keeps telling me that they canu2019t schedule a meeting in person. I called other offices and they are so nice and available but my zip code is not in their region. I canu2019t believe nobody manages this situation. What a shame!

One star is too many. I originally called this location and spoke to a gentleman who was very helpful in getting me the information I needed for a name change. Twice I have had to call back to follow up on my case and both times have dealt with the same unpleasant, woman since then. She is rude and condescending, and aggressive when asked for any alternative resolutions to my issue. She basically told metoo bad, you will have to wait....until when?! COVID is over?! I understand my situation is not life or death, but it is important, otherwise I would not be calling. I will never work with this branch again.

The man working here is extremely rude! I had the worst experience ever going here!

I am sure people have been experiencing some issues, but for me everything went perfectly. From calling them to mailing them supporting documents to reviving what I needed, everyone handling my case was super helpful and professional.

I just called and asked one simple yes or no question and the lady was incredibly rude. They need to fire and hire some new people, also if you work at this place know that SOME of us customers record our phone calls, ma'am your attitude was recorded and it was disgusting especially during such a terrible time in this world.

I called to receive some help and the man on the other end of the line might be the rudest person I've ever talked to. If you need help, do not go here, they are unsympathetic and will just yell over you as you try to explain your situation. Literally go anywhere else, he was the WORST.

Attempted to get something corrected, initial guy who helped me was very helpful walked me along on the steps on what to do, as well as another woman whou2019s name Iu2019m forgetting.nnItu2019s been months at this point and they donu2019t communicate anything back, they basically just told me we donu2019t know what to do, there is no way to resolve this problem online. Incredibly lazy, and just honestly incompetent. I understand that COVID has made things harder to do but the lengths to which they have gone to to do nothing actively is insane. Donu2019t go here, save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else.

INCOMPETENCE! My mother has been trying to get her Medicare since MARCH! It is now October! She has talked to numerous people and emailed and sent in numerous forms. Now they tell her they have no record!?!?nShe has not seen her heart doctor, or other doctors since February!! She's not covered... You are playing with her life! Get your act together! No one knows what is going on there!

I needed a replacement for my daughter's ss card. What a pleasant experience! The gentlemen helped everyone enter their information on the touch screen. The lady who assisted me was so very nice. I was only there about 45 minutes. A totally positive experience.

Although my wait wasn't too long without an appointment, and the clerk processed my claim properly, her customer service skills could use some improvement. She was about half my age and said her name is Ms.(I won't give out her last name), never mentioning her first name. She also said that the amount I will be receiving is relatively small for as long as I have been working. I didn't exactly walk out of there having a lot of confidence in myself, especially since I am recently retired and having a tough go of it.

The team that works at the clawson location are horrible people to work with. Very disrespectful and talk down to you. Not helpful at all and are annoyed if you need anything.

Excellent service from this office from start to finish. They listen., are compassionate and helpful. Ms. Sims at this office is just the best of the best. She's a very valuable employee and does her job extremely well. I'm grateful. Thank you!

Very Rude staff. I cannot imagine dealing with them in person. They are not helpful. I have been waiting for weeks to update information after providing all the required documents. Everytime I call, I get a different answer. All they have is an excuse of pandemic.

I went to that office at 3pm. At 3.40 (still waiting) the power went off. The staff told me that it takes 15 min for servers to restart. By then it'd be 3.55 and the office closes at 4pm. Of course they could've waited 15 min and help me but why would they? It's not like I wasted 40 min of my time and my taxes are paying their salaries. They did collect my number, to show that they helped me. I think they did it ironically.

Wow what attitude. You think the lady at window d on 11/1/19 1:35 pm would have some type of friendliness! Gave me nasty attitude and never entered my name in the system! After waiting an hr and asking for manager I got seen! She needs to work at her attitude!

Went to this office for my brothers disability (had an appointment set) two people were confuseddo I have an appointment with you???They messed up, an error on their part... cancelled my brothers disability. As explained to the worker he has for autism and other mental health issues. The worker not only kept calling himhoneyandyou're not listeningwhen SHE wasn't listening and told himso something you had when you were little... that you grow out of......she was very confused and thought how is he on disability when he should have grown out of this. She is CLEARLY uneducated. HOW you have a job working with those disabled and have zero clue about disabilities I'm not sure. Just pure ignorance. She was told he has had this his whole life(the disability) but didn't get disability until he turned 18 due to no longer a child..... so she put on paperwork he became disabled in 2008.... SHE wasn't listening. Just disgusting the incompetence of the workers at this office...nnI'm not sure if we can say this but her name was Ms. Khan. She should lose her job. Not helpful at all.... he's now gotta wait 4 months with no income, could lose his apartment all to figure this out because of THEIR errors.

One star is too high for them. I sent in my form for correcting some mistakes in my social security records. Almost two months later they refuse to check the status of my case. What a ....

Summary: Nasty female manager here. Desk didn't give correct information. Hour wait. Security didn't ask about my disability or notify management to reduce concern. (I have medical paperwork.) Manager wouldn't let employee do her job. Manager was abusive. Manager was discriminatory against those with disabilities. Manager should be fired. Didn't get what I came for. Going to drive an hour somewhere else because it was so bad here.nnWalked in with my gas mask respirator for fragrance, spoke kindly with the entry staff about getting a social security card with my paper ID, sat down for an hour wait, filled out the paperwork, and even the officer wasn't perturbed in the slightest by my disability.nnGot to the desk. Finally. Woman begins to help me only to have the manager come over shouting at me that I can't wear that thing in here! It's not like it's for a disability! She was so proud she knew I was a freak and could treat me as such. Goodness, it was awful, hearing her yell it loud enough for every desk head to turn. Poor woman at the desk never got a chance to speak.nnManager then started berating me for trying to get a social security card with a piece of paper. I should have known better, that I'd need a REAL license to get a social security card, not that fake temporary thing! I had just left the Secretary of State and they had assured me it would be fine. It was a simple misunderstanding but she CONTINUED yelling and she implied in all sorts of ways that I was trying to HIDE MY FACE, and I didn't really think they could do anything for me like THAT did I? Finally the sweet girl got a chance to speak. Can you take it off just long enough for verification purposes? She asked. Absolutely, I responded, I figured I'd have to. DOESN'T MATTER, said the manager lady, butting in. It's not like we can help you with THAT! You need a real license! You can do it online too!nnThat manager was the most heartless, discriminating, evil, humiliating, controlling witch I've ever met. I pity everyone who works here.

Just left this office - I was turned away for not having anembosseddocument. I, not knowing the requirements on a document graciously apologized and left. I called the vital records office for Oakland county where they explained the seals to me. My documents were correct and I wasted my afternoon sitting in a feline urine covered chair. :/ I'll be mailing in my documents with post it notes to identify what the agent is supposedly trained to recognize.

Called to enquire about what documents need to send in, the lady who answered knew less than I did about the matter, got mad, and hung up on me. When I called back and asked for a supervisor she hung up again. This is what we pay taxes for.

I went there with my mom because she is getting a pension because my father passed away. I explained to the person that attended us and he refused the service to my mom, we got OFFICIAL documents and even in this documents say what do they need to do, he refused to give us service. With no explanations and negatives, he called security and my mom and I were escorted to the exit. I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE ALL THESE WERE BECAUSE WE ARE MEXICANS... BTW I have proofs and if I can do something legal, we will do it.
