If I could give 0 stars I would! Friday will be 9 weeks since they had my original copy of my marriage certificate. I have left a number of messages with a supervisor and no one called back. Today the lady said it was probably lost in the mail. Awesome! So now I canu2019t proceed with my name change and have to cancel the appointments I have lined up to change my name while I wait for another marriage certificate from the state of TN. Avoid this office!

My first impression wasn't great as it was difficult to reach this office by phone. (Thus my reason for only 4 stars) But once I did reach them I was advised that it was a good idea to make an appointment. From that point on they have been great, very easy to work with. I made an appointment, they sent info confirming the appointment and after filling out my forms online they advised what it was I needed to bring to the appointment (birth cert, passport, w2, etc.). I met with a knowledgeable and friendly representative named Jill and am all set. I am pleasantly surprised.

My son an I went there at 1:30 exact we left at 5 an still no resolution. We were passed from person to person. The security guardwas very nice. Noticing if you've been there long getting a status on your case. Very poor customer service

We got here a couple minutes after opening to wait in a line going out the door which is normal for here. However, the wait time to get seen is truly horrible. Sometimes like today, they will only have 1 person to take you and so the wait time is usually 2 hours plus if you dont get here early. This place is horrible. Dont ever come here!

We waited nearly an hour before walking out. We arrived the following day at 8:30 am and were done 45 minutes later. They open at 9 and we were 8th in line at 8:30 am. Bring a book to read while waiting.
