My husband and I visited last Sept. and were so positively impressed with every aspect of our visit, but especially with the woman who served us. She was polite, sensitive, inclusive, supportive and just plain old pleasant. so happy we have this resource within an easy drive.

Super rude over the phone.theres a woman that works there who drank and partied with my mother for years and for some reason this woman talks to me like im asking her for money from her account.just changing an address was a miserable experience.maybe she didnt have her pre work beer.i mean she's at my family funerals and stuff drinking.shes polite there.just not when she's working.makes it hard for me to feel im being treated fairly

Very rude.... Went to update SSN with my changed name and the clerk was extremely rude. She refused to look at the documents I had brought and insisted I needed a doctor's note confirming why my name is changed. The forums state a doctor's note OR the court documents which I had brought. She had a terrible attitude and was not helpful what so ever. My only free day wasted because I can't do anything else until this is done. I'd rate lower then 1 if I could.

Terrible my first trip I was told that I could not get new SSN for my adoptive sons! He tells me that he was filling in, but he knew it couldn't be done! After, talking to the lawyers I used to adopt my son's they sent me the forms I needed. I filled them out and returned. A lady told me I could for one boy the other I couldn't because he received SSI in the past. I received the new cards in the mail the child that had received the SSI in the past received a new number but the child she said I could change had the same number! It was a terrible experience 2trips there and because of their mistakes 2trips to the Rutland VT office to have everything fixed!

Very nasty lady not very helpful. She barked that my daughters birth certificate was not anything that they could take after waiting 3 months to get it from the state a long ways away. And then ask her to get what has already been stolen from her
