I have tried repeatedly for days to reach my case manager. EVERY DAY I call and leave a message to be called back with no return call. Good luck if you have a deadline to meet and need questions answered.

You will wait for a good 20 minutes, then someone will answer your call telling you to wait then he will hang up and and you will wait another good 20 minutes again.

I've called this office numerous times and they cannot be bothered to answer the phone. I even knocked on the door where two employees inside looked at me and walked away. The social security website says to call the office and set up an appointment... but apparently not Holyoke. Thanks a lot

I had to call the office to notify them of my father in laws passing. The woman who answered the phone was so kind and compassionate it was very touching. She helped in explaining everything I needed to know, and she helped make this experience a little less overwhelming for us. I wish I knew her name, but she spoke with a beautiful Spanish accent. Thank you for your kindness and compassion!!! The world needs more people like you!

Every time I have to call in as my friends rep payee I get the run around from them, I sit on hold for anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours and at least half the time I'm hung up on before speaking to anyone. There's no place to park so can't just go in and deal with an issue not that I can devote the entire day away from kids and work to sit there and have them refuse to talk to me if I don't have my friend with me so thats two people who have to spend all day at an office to quite literally change an address typo on their side. love it

I called to ask if my ssn has been issued yet or not and at the first call, a guy hang up the call durling we're still talking and i needed to call them back and a women also hang up the call too on my second and she didn't even ask me anything, she just saidHelloand then hang up the phone...I couldn't resolve my problem...

My face to face experiences have always been pleasant and efficient.nnMy phone experiences have but more frustrating. I understand that answering questions can be tedious but allow callers to ask the question without talking over them or jumping to quick conclusion.nnOverall, a better experience than dealing with the office in Worcester.

We brought our 30 yr old daughter to get her name changed after she got married. We had no appointment. We waited about an hour, the place was packed. Overall it was a reasonable experience.

I have left no less than 20 messages with my son's case manager in the last 5 months and have had no response. I am forced to go there and wait for hours to fix a simple issue that could easily be done by phone.
    Martha Pacilio
Terrible service. Essentially incompetent. I had scheduled a phone call today for 10:15 AM that never came. After 1/2 hour of waiting I called SS and was told that the local office had failed to make the call and they would call within 1/2 hour. That was 1 and 1/4 hours ago and still no phone call. The office is now closed. Very exasperating and consistent with other reviews for this office.

The office is very clean. Everyone is very helpful and nice plus Mrs.Guidara is the best person at the window of any social security offices I ever experienced in any office of any kind!! She is so nice and very helpful and professional employee. This person should get a raise. This is my first review i ever wrote. Sincerely, Megan

Place is clean but the wait is just to long and they are very slow. Seems like they call a person every 45 mins. I am here on a thursday only 10 people before me. So far been sitting for an hours and waiting to get seen in the back have a feeling it will be an hour or two for that mond you it's 10:15am now.
    Tam Nuckols
So crowded all of the time. Waiting is much more than two hours sometimes you aren't even seen the same day. I went and there was no more seating available and people were sitting on the floor of the hallway or standing on a line towards the elevator. I stayed for two hours. When I arrived they were at number 10 I was given number 43. They had only seen 2 ppl per hour. I knew I wasn't going to be seen by the time I had to be back home. Many people were upset some had waited a whole day pervious and came back the next morning only to wait even longer again.

This place is an absolute joke. I was on the phone for over an hour waiting for someone to help me, and when I finally got through to someone she hung the phone up on me for asking a simple question I was confused about.

This office is the worst don't think you'll be leaving quickly it take 2 & half to 3 hours to be seen & this office has lazy workers if your going for change of address double check if they've done it I whent for this reason a year ago & they never changed my address even though I brought bank accounts papers with a updated address for the direct deposit & got that set up however the address never got changed
    Courtney Reid
I had a good experience. Wait was only about 45 minutes (I went midday) and the guy who helped me was really friendly and helpful.
