I have had so much difficulty with My Local Soc. Sec. Office. I was raised in Haverhill, I raised my 2 children in Haverhill. I just moved back to Haverhill after living in Boston the last 3 years. And I have had more trouble getting help here in my hometown fromMy Social Security Office. I received more help and direction. Communications were open, they answered the phone on and returned my phone call.We are in a very sad state of affairs, that I don't think division and fend for yourself or die.!!!!!

I don't know what is going on there....I have tried to call 4 times today...each time, after waiting 15 minutes, I get disconnected. Very frustrating...fix the phones or open back up

I arrived at 8:45 and there were 4 people first. Nevertheless, 35 min. after that I was on my way to work. The young woman who treated me was very courteous and kind. My experience in Haverhill was very good, I can not complain. I hope that the staff continue this way, giving a good service to the user and it can be the difference between the other SS offices like Lawrence's, which is horrible. They should fire all the staff in Lawrence's office. I think it's better to close that office.

It would be nice if someone would answer the phone I've been trying for a week

This office botched up my Social Security application and after three years my appeals to correct the matter are still ignored.nnThe woman who took the application scolded me for using an office outside my service area ... it's a federal office and we can go anywhere we want.nnBut she had to get up from her desk and do something.....nnAwful from start to finish.

I don't like the fact that it's closed to the public.

Visited the Haverhill Social Security office today and was completely delighted. The wait was short, the personnel very friendly and helpful. Answered my questions, and took care of my problem.

I have been to the Haverhill office twice and been very impressed by everyone there. It is such a change from the Malden office that is overcrowded and understaffed. The people are not very friendly and the wait times are long. Haverhill's system seems to work well and wait times aren't bad at all. You even see people smile at this office
