extreme poor customer service ! I understand with covid to expect appointment only , long wait times as well as other restrictions. sadly the website gives you no information and when I called to speak to someone the person on the phone was very rude and hung up on me I will be going to a different office maybe ill have a better experience.

I went into this office to resolve a matter with getting my mother my fathers last SSI payment he died 05/06/19 and was paid for the month April on May 8th, and when they realized he had passed away they took the direct deposit back. I went into this office and the nice lady researched it for about 3 or 4 minutes filled out the form for my mother so all she had to do was sign it, had it back and they will issue the payment again. Very satisfied with the exceptional service.

The 5 star reviews? Probably employees considering how similar they are. I was charged an u201coverpaymentu201d amount from when I was a minor, filed a waiver (in person) to make it the responsibility of the rep payee from my youth.. they said to call back 3 months later... I did and they had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently my application was never filed. I filed another, it was u201cexpeditedu201d, (not really- took 3 months), where it was determined that it was not my debt. The $ was returned to me. Itu2019s been about a year and theyu2019re trying to charge me for it AGAIN, they am find the proof that a waiver was filed- but nothing about the determination. :eye roll: SO for the third time, Iu2019m dealing with this. They also tried pinning debts owed on me two other times that were not even anything to do with me or my social! The Hanover office is RUDE and something is super fishy over there- all I can think of is the severely disabled and the elderly who are not paying attention that they take advantage of!

I went to change my last name after marriage. I entered and checked-in at the kiosk, then before I even fully sat down I was called over and helped by a polite worker. I had filled out the application at home and had my documents ready so the process was very quick and easy.

First they spell my brother's name wrong on new social security verification then every time we called they told us to wail 2 weeks. It's 6 weeks now and stillntelling us to wait 2 more weeks. They have all the documents. Why can't they check or verify the name or hire people who really wants to work and help people.
