Please go to another SSA to get your service, trust me itu2019s worth it. Took me days to get in touch with them to change my name, and now itu2019s taking over two months for me to get my information back. I should have known that it wouldu2019ve been better if I had gone somewhere else, especially since an office further from me answered the first time I called. Donu2019t waste your time here.

This is one of the garbage government office ever I have been. They said need to make appointment by phone to get the service and I continue dialed their phone after and after. After the long boring automated answer, when their phone rings they hung up the phone without answering. When no one answer the phone, how we can make appointments? Government should close this location and spend that budget for people in need. No any employees deserve government salaries from this office.

I wonder why this office is still open. The Pandemic changed everything we understand that but what has not changed is how we rely upon SSA service. I have been calling for the last 2 months every day 6 to 7 times, no one responds, each time I get hung up on. Does this office management even checks their reviews? Unbelievable for a government entity

Absolutely terrible! They are obviously trying their best not to help anyone!! Their phones have been off Monday and Tuesday (today.) I went to the office the security guard came out and told me the phones work, even though they don't. After that a family who had an appointment scheduled, and another woman who came to the office because the phone is off came to the door knocking. The security guard just looked at them and did not answer.nI called about 2 weeks ago. When the phones were working and was told I would be called to schedule an appointment, and I had to cal and speak to 3 different people in order to be put on the call back list. The first person tried to tell me the offices were completely closed not seeing anyone, and the second person kept telling me they couldn't schedule me an appointment. Finally the third said that they would call me back so I could apply for a new card and get a form with my name and social security number saying I applied for a nee card. I have not been called back. I tried to cal several times last week and was put on hold for a long time until they hung up. Now their phones are completely off! They are trying their best not to help anyone!nShould be 0 stars. This is terrible. People have pertinent needs for social security cards and other social security serves!

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! This is the WORSE OFFICE EVER. My son was born 12/2021 & I have yet to receive his social security card. The phone lines DO NOT WORK SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO EVEN CALL! This has been the worse experience and I canu2019t do nothing without my sons social security card. For something so important you would think that it would be easy to get in touch with somebody and it is not. Something needs to be done about this. This is stressful and ridiculous. As many bad reviews that are posted I donu2019t see how nothing has been changed, smh.

Worst security office I've ever been. Avoid at all cost. Office is lock and they only will see you by appointment only. But you can't reach then on the phone and they won't let you in to make an appointment. Also security guard got some attitude, if she don't like her job advise to get another one. But I guess since they don't have any body inside nobody is working. STAY AWAY

After several attempts on trying to contact the Seabrook office I gave up and called the Glen Burnie location and didnu2019t have to wait for a representative for more than 10 minutes. Scheduled an appointment, arrived the next day and the lady who helped me was very nice. I was out of the office within 15 minutes, very professional service. I enjoyed my experience

Wish I could post zero stars. This office is unhelpful in the most way. The members are rude over the phone. The SSA suspended all in-person office visits unless you have an appointment. When you call to make an appointment the representatives hang up or do not answer your call, leaving you ringing for over an hour. I still have not resolved my name change. When you call the normal SSA line it directs you to this office due to the area which you live..

I've never been hung up on by an automated system so many times before in my life. And the amount of times it asks me if I want to continue my call is ridiculous. You don't even get the opportunity to be put on hold before it's asking if you want to hang up. Then there's all the times it just stops ringing altogether then hangs up on you. I'm on my 6th call back in 30 minutes. Why even have this office when it's abundantly clear no one is going to answer the phone. Absolutely horrible!

I sent my application for a name change 2 weeks prior, and when I called today, Ms. McDonald answered the phone. She was clear, concise, and polite. She provided me the information IRT my name change and let me know the date it was processed and that I should be receiving my documents back any day. Positive experience. Thankful I got luckier than most, it seems.

Getting a hold of someone in this office is next to impossible. i was sent a letter that I would receive my new SS card in 2 weeks it's been over a month and I still haven't got it in the mail. Going in person is a huge waste of time because they'll just tell you to call. When you do call no one picks up the phone I've waited on hold for 20 minutes just for the call to disconnect and then get a busy signal when I tried calling back

What a disgrace this office, and all of it seem, is. Appt. Only and you can't get an appointment. People in the office hiding, it's wild! I called and requested an appt., month later no appointment and can't get through the number. And you wonder why people are hatin' on the govt. BLAAAAAH so disgusted.

Worst social security office. They never pick up the phone or the automated system hangs up on you. Must be some lazy people working in this office.

I wish I could rate zero stars. This is the most useless government office iu2019ve ever come across you canu2019t even get through to someone on the phone and donu2019t even waste your time going in person; they wont come to the door.

If there was an option for 0 stars I would choose that option. The lady kept hanging up on me. Wouldnu2019t give me her name when requested and there is no drop box outside of this office although we were informed to drop off documents outside of the office.

This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. I was repeatedly told to call back and then when I did I got nothing but attitude. I was told that (somehow) they did not receive a years worth of mail until Feb and are still processing it, but only one person goes into the office 3 times a week. As a high risk person, working for the government, I have been back to work since before the New Year. I canu2019t understand how this office still has such reduced staff. I also canu2019t understand how so many people who get to stay at home and answer phone calls when and how they feel like it, can have such an attitude. I will say that I was able to get help from a Mr. Cherry who I believe is the manager. He apologized for the staffed and had me immediately come in to get the situation resolved. If you find yourself getting nowhere with the staff at this location- ask for Mr. Cherry.

I have been trying to make an appointment but they never answer the phone it is been like this for two months and two weeks ago they answers and said they will call me back I am still waiting and calling but they don't answer
    Natasha Salisbury
Never answers phones. Called 6 times in a row. Stayed on the line until it automatically hangs up. What a joke this place is.
